Ordinarily I would not be writing a review like this but I am hoping to bring this issue to the attention of someone who can actually fix it. I have spoken to a woman at customer service and 2 different managers in the last six months. In the back of the store over one of the meat cases black mold is growing on the ceiling. After bringing it to the attention one manager he had someone go up on a ladder and clean it. He told me that was a temporary measure until he could get someone in and address the issue properly. Place is small. The meat department does not have the teriyaki skirt steak which is amazing. The deli department is a mess. They close 1/2 hour before the store apparently. I was on line ordering with 3 people in front of me. They turned off all the lights in that whole area. Only had one machine cutting meat and cheese on same slicer. people waiting for cold cuts. They kept messing up everyone's orders and giving the wrong items to people. I have been here a few times and Massapequa is worth the drive because this one suck... read more

I have long been an Uncle Giuseppe's customer. After the horrendous display of customer service (or lack thereof) on Christmas Eve, I will NEVER shop there again!! After placing, and paying for a catering order (over $600) I arrived at my appointed time on Christmas Eve to pick up my order and be on my Merry way. To my dismay and that of many other Uncle Giuseppe's customers the order was not ready and I along with many others waited over 2 hours (on a day I took off from my job) to pick up my order. Had an incident with one of their thug managers a few years back. Hope they've learned to better screen their employees. Haven't gone back.

Disappointed. Their vodka sauce is $9.99 for a large homemade tub which isn't a bad price. Unfortunately it taste pretty horrible. Nothing to brag about nor would I recommend it ever to anyone. Their french onion soup is a decent price $4.99. Unfortunately it's horrible. Taste like something boring from a bad diner. Totally disappointed. Let's hope their fresh manicotti taste better today. Looks were definitely deceiving.
