Over heard the manager tell one of his employees to make sure we don't go back into the store with our bags because we could put stuff in it. Smh prejudice
Not all Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace are created equal! This dark, claustrophobic m, disorganized store is a far cry from the Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace in Massapequa. I happened to be in Port Washington and figured I could pick up some dinner here. The meatballs are not as good. The cashier (a young man) couldn't be bothered to be polite and charged me full price for sale items. I won't be back but really, the brand should consider fixing this place up.
Fresh made food looks delicious from a distance. Up close, couldn't find the items we wanted (eggplant Stromboli section filled with sausage Stromboli made my girlfriend cry) Food items poorly organized and very expensive. Had to get customer service due to massive overcharge for bread. The desserts look amazing.

Quality and selection of food is very very good , but at a price. Comparing stock food items , this chain is usually always higher. I purchased cider donuts for breakfast and snack. The package was labeled 12 pack for $6.99 , but there was only 6 in small package. Happens a lot with them miss marking the store made products in house. Has happened to me several times. Shame on me!

employees are key people to a grocery store but i must say i just came back from there and the young lady behind the gellatto counter was not very nice at all! never wiped off the container and when asked her to clean it off she got annoyed never smiled and when i mentioned it to the cash register girl she indicated that nobody likes her! i would never want that person on my team. For the record sunday 9-2-17 arond 12 noon if they need to find that person
The food in all these Uncle Guisseppe has too much salt...just bought lightly salted mozzarella...it was loaded with salt.I would hate to see what salted mozzarella would be like.I also bought the capponata and it was loaded with salt...Don't they realize people who want salt can just add it.Nowadays people are very self conscious about salt for health reasons..Salt causes alot of health problems...so says my brother who is a Cardiologist.....KEEP OUT THE SALT!!!!!
