I am very unsatisfied with this place. First, the customer service man Mike was extremely rude. He was talking to me as if he was talking down to me. Second, the parking lot was a disaster and more then one person almost backed into me. Last, there food was not that good. For the price it is not worth the frustration. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

While waiting to be waited on at the bakery I watched 2 men mixing batter or dough in buckets placed on the floor, with they're bare hands. I feel they should be wearing gloves and that should not be done out in the open where customers can see. YUK! The rest of the store was good.

Bakery has a beautiful display but needs major improvement. I purchased pastrys on three occasions and either they are stale or soggy and cream cheese filling is bitter possibly sour. They are over priced and i would expect fresh pastry's . What a disappointent.

I contracted Scombroid poisoning from tuna purchased at Uncle Guiseppies back in June. Guiseppies was notified and although I required emergency medical care and was ultimately hospitalized for complications, the management never apologized or even bothered to inquire as to how I was doing. My case was well documented by Nassau County DOH who referred the case to Agriculture and Markets. The store was inspected and unable to provide the required seafood receiving logs. East Meadow Store: Bought raw pre made meatballs here. 6 for $8. Cooked them at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. When fully cooked and spaghetti was ready, we sat down to eat and sliced open the meatballs. They were bright red inside and not because they were raw...the meat is apparently sprayed with something, maybe to make brown older meat look fresh.. But it was disgusting. Call me an idiot since I had the same exact experience with the massapequa and east meadow stores last year with meatballs and meatloaf. I occasionally b... read more

At least 90% of the time that you shop at UGM's Massapequa store you will find that you paid the non sales price for at least one item if you check your receipt. When you return to show them their error they quickly give you a refund along with the standard lie 'oh,we haven't updated our registers for the sale. And they never do. Try it yourself and you'll see
