Disappointed. Their vodka sauce is $9.99 for a large homemade tub which isn't a bad price. Unfortunately it taste pretty horrible. Nothing to brag about nor would I recommend it ever to anyone. Their french onion soup is a decent price $4.99. Unfortunately it's horrible. Taste like something boring from a bad diner. Totally disappointed. Let's hope their fresh manicotti taste better today. Looks were definitely deceiving.
This place is a hit or miss some things good some really bad. I was very unhappy to see some of the premade dinner pastas jumped a couple of bucks to 19.99 when in reality it's mostly pasta so I think overpriced. So because I didn't think it justified the price I decided to go with one of the premade Sicilian pizzas with meatballs on top for 15 bucks. Had a very negative experience - just left the store after being checked out on the express line - young lady didn't even speak - took my card and gave me my receipt. People like to be respected when they spend their money and I never got this here before BUT THIS CHICK WAS NASTY - blond hair - she wore a cap. They need to take her and put her somewhere else if she's gonna pick and choose who she's nice to.
the 100 workers at the deli/prepared food counter in the evening n-e-v-e-r help customers. on more than one occasion i have been the o n l y one standing there and there have been plentyyy of workers in the back who dont offer to help, nor make eye contact with you to get you what you need. the last time we had to go to the manager who came back there to help us while the others goofed off.
** AMENDED REVIEW - Within minutes of placing this review, I was contacted by their Marketing person and they really have been working hard to make this up to myself and my company. I feel much better knowing that we have someone personally involved in making our re-scheduled holiday luncheon go smoothly. Placed a giant order for a work luncheon. I'm curious as to what the staff training entails at Uncle Giuseppe's. I had a very poor experience when I was there on Oct 2nd. To make a long story short, my boyfriend was getting a container of UG brand sauce when, one container came flying off the shelf and made a mess of his clothes/shoes as well as the floor. The young male employee, that was right next to us when it fell, just stood there shrugging and laughing while I had to raise my voice to ask for help cleaning up.
