I found this place by mistake, located behind a dingy strip mall on rt.10 in Morris Plains. Curious, I went inside to take a peek. What a store! Quality food items that you could not find in Shop rite. Prices are high, but the food quality is much better than you would find in your typical food supermarket. If I am looking for quality food items, this place is on my list. A must see!
This is one of my new favorite grocery stores. They are clean and the selection is great. I love thier deli & pre-made foods. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The bakery is amazing, again all the pastries are fresh and so good! I like the layout of the store because everything is easy to find. They have fresh coffee beans that you can grind yourself - regular, flavored, decaf and even flavored decaf! So many different options in every department. This has become one of my go to grocery stores now.
Really cool marketplace!! My friend brought me here today and we spent the afternoon exploring the store. It's Sunday, so it was slightly overwhelming because it was so busy and there's so many things to look at. I enjoyed the ambiance. They had live music which was a very nice touch. Wifey and I decided to brave Uncle Giuseppe's today and we were both pretty impressed. I will say that if we hadn't gone early we would have gone elsewhere because by the time we left there was a line out the door for people waiting to come in. That said, this place is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful clean store. The bakery looked like a sweet lovers dream. I'm a sucker for prepared foods and what don't they have here?! You can grab a slice of pizza and gelato for dessert. I thought their port wine cheese and house made roast beef was great. However, the prices here makes Kings look like dollar tree. There's no way I could do my regular grocery shopping here. This new-to-me Italian food mecca is a stunning shopping experience. The classy decor, artfully display goodies, helpful and friendly staff and the wide selection across products had me strolling the aisles for quite a while before I even grabbed a shopping cart.
