So during these challenging times of quarantine in the Covid-19 pandemic we have looked beyond our normal to find special places to spend a little time outside our homes while staying safe. I have to say that 90 % of the young people who work here are gems , VERY considerate and understanding ( as well as the vast majority of the kids the Massapequa store has employed for the last ten+ years ) . Plain , old fashioned decency and common courtesy are very important to me , but so much more so in times like these , and the kids here seem especially sensitive to the needs of seniors like myself ( I'm 65 ) . I took a ride to Uncle Giuseppe's a couple of weeks ago! I walked into a slice of heaven. It is one-stop shopping. Fresh produce, meats, cooked foods, pastries, and more! Anthony Sinapi is the head baker there. He knows his stuff! Maybe because of his background and knowledge of baked goods. He brought out fresh, hot bread as well as fresh baked goods. This was a score since it was Easter Weekend. First class service. Thanks, Anthony!!
Very nice always. had a person in vestibule to wipe down the handle of my cart with sanitizer and on the way out an employee thanked us for coming in to shop. thank you!
A great resource for the area that rises above the usual supermarket. The quality is substantially above average and there are many things that you wouldn't easily find elsewhere. The prepared foods are terrific. The store is clean, the aisles wide, and staff courteous and helpful. They're not perfect but when I have pointed out deficiencies,they corrected them - though at the cost of my time and effort. The only major drawback is the prices; I'd bet that no one who shops here is on a budget.

Love this store! The staff is so helpful and nice. The food is amazing! I can't wait to see what it looks like renovated.
I'm still on the fence with the new Uncle Guiseppe's market. I shop there regularly these past three months. So my review is not based on a couple of visits but shopping multiple times each week. The baseline for my comparison is Turco's which was the store that existed before. Deli - same as before both price and quality with the following points: rotisserie chicken far worse and higher prices, not very flavorful. Soups higher prices, flavors are weak.
