The biggest change from Turco's can be found in the price increases. If the cost was more reasonable, I would have left with a quite a few items. Instead, I just bought a package of rice balls and a container of bolognese sauce. Setting aside the money, the rice balls were fantastic, and the sauce was excellent. So at least I can give them that much. Frankly, Turco's had begun to sink in terms of quality a good year or two before they went out of business. I LOVE this place! So happy that Turcos sold to another Italian market and not a regular grocery store. Big selection of Italian specialties and the bakery is awesome.

Great store and awesome crew. Came here for some items and was drawn to their French macaroons. Had to get a tower for the dessert table at Thanksgiving. The red velvet, strawberry shortcake and tiramisu were huge hits

The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are okay, rather on the expensive site, but it's worth. The transition from Turco's to Uncle Giuseppe's was a success. Congrats.

Love UG's!!! I have been to several of them and they are always clean and helpful. My favorite is Maria of the deli department in the East Meadow location and Danielle of Catering in the Smithtown location. Maria is always working hard and she really handles the pressure of Super Bowl Sunday better than anyone. With Daniele whether it's a last minute order or a pick up order she is accurate, focused and acts like it's not her first rodeo! Great food and great staff. You can't go wrong!

This one is huge compared to the one in east meadow wear you an barely get a cart down the isle at that one. This one you will have no problems with room. They have a sushi bar in the front and a pizza place then you have the deli which takes up almost the entire length of one side of the building which has almost anything you can think of in it. They have there own fresh made made pasta section behind that then you have your sauces and cheese section and your seafood then beer and dairy. The center of the store is mainl... read more

Been here a few times since the changeover from Turcos, and there are some positives and a couple of negatives to report thus far.
