The biggest change from Turco's can be found in the price increases. If the cost was more reasonable, I would have left with a quite a few items. Instead, I just bought a package of rice balls and a container of bolognese sauce. Setting aside the money, the rice balls were fantastic, and the sauce was excellent. So at least I can give them that much. Frankly, Turco's had begun to sink in terms of quality a good year or two before they went out of business. Blue love love love this Italian supermarket. On the weekend you can come there somebody singing to serenade you some wonderful Italian songs. On the weekends they also have tastings. So you can taste the food. The deli counter is full of delicious foods but be prepared to wait because it is a long line so take a number enjoy the music and be patient. If you can get there during the week it's definitely less packed less chaotic. The desert area is a plus plus. All their bakery goods are made on the premises and are delicious... read more

I LOVE this place! So happy that Turcos sold to another Italian market and not a regular grocery store. Big selection of Italian specialties and the bakery is awesome.
The family who owns Uncle G's reached out to me in regards to twin 7 year old boys having a birthday tomorrow 12/9. In 2015 one of them was diagnosed with brain cancer and the family has overcome a lot. It's nice seeing the community come together for a Long Island family in need. Uncle G's is donating the food tomorrow. The cake is a donation from me from Capri's. These aren't all of them, but the toys are from local moms in the community. Great store and awesome crew. Came here for some items and was drawn to their French macaroons. Had to get a tower for the dessert table at Thanksgiving. The red velvet, strawberry shortcake and tiramisu were huge hits
