I have to say that 90 % of the young people who work here are gems , VERY considerate and understanding ( as well as the vast majority of the kids the Massapequa store has employed for the last ten+ years ) . Plain , old fashioned decency and common courtesy are very important to me , but so much more so in times like these , and the kids here seem especially sensitive to the needs of seniors like myself ( I'm 65 ) . I took a ride to Uncle Giuseppe's a couple of weeks ago! I walked into a slice of heaven. It is one-stop shopping. Fresh produce, meats, cooked foods, pastries, and more! Anthony Sinapi is the head baker there. He knows his stuff! Maybe because of his background and knowledge of baked goods. He brought out fresh, hot bread as well as fresh baked goods. This was a score since it was Easter Weekend. First class service. Thanks, Anthony!!

Favorite grocery store in the area by far! Uncle G's has all your standard groceries and tons of Italian specialty items (e.g. fresh pasta and sauces, imported cheeses). They have awesome pre-made meals that you can just stick in the oven, super convenient whether you need dinner for 2 or 10 people. Their bakery is fantastic, know for their "Holy Cannoli dip" (genius!). I usually buy birthday cakes from here and have never been disappointed. I love this store. I don't typically give out five stars, but Uncle Giuseppe's is well deserving of the 5 stars. Of course they're mostly known as a supermarket, but here's something you wouldn't expect. Often we find ourselves in a situation where a good friend passes. We would usually connect with a florist and have them send a basket, usually of fruits. Well we found that using florists ends up to be a rip off, and usually we end up embarrassed. So we happened to be in Uncle Giuseppe's when a friends dad suddenly passe... read more

Very nice always. had a person in vestibule to wipe down the handle of my cart with sanitizer and on the way out an employee thanked us for coming in to shop. thank you!

A great resource for the area that rises above the usual supermarket. The quality is substantially above average and there are many things that you wouldn't easily find elsewhere. The prepared foods are terrific. The store is clean, the aisles wide, and staff courteous and helpful. They're not perfect but when I have pointed out deficiencies,they corrected them - though at the cost of my time and effort. The only major drawback is the prices; I'd bet that no one who shops here is on a budget.
