Been here a few times since the changeover from Turcos, and there are some positives and a couple of negatives to report thus far. The steaks and chicken and prepared foods are good but the bakery is awful I've ordered 3 to 4 items there every item is disgusting the fruit tart chocolate cake muffins cookies they're all garbage absolutely disgraceful that they even sell this way overpriced and it's disgusting I don't know what they're thinking the chain is run very well except for this part they should sub it out to someone who can actually cook something decent for prepare dessert

Good progression from Turcos, now they have organic produce in an expanded produce section, meat counter has been rearranged, same friendly service, seafood as in the past quite good. Employees seem to be happy. Prices are going up $17.99 for skirt steak??? Whole Foods in Chappaqua sells it for 11.99. Hope they make it and maintain high quality. Lots of luck!

I Always go to uncle G's for all my produce & meats. Although I know they close @ 9:30, last night I was running late and could not get there until 9:15 for meat which was desperately needed for today's party. When I went over to the butcher's counter it was dark and they had cleaned everything & wrapped up for the night. I thought it was a lost cause. Suddenly Chris, one of my favorite butchers popped out. He smiled at my request, said it was no problem and cut me a beautiful roast. I tried to tip him for all the tro... read more

Looks exactly the same as when Turco's was here, addition of a few new employees, but it looks like biz as usual. Same bakery, fish and meat. Different packaging, I'll give them time to settle in and write a follow up. My understanding is they'll be some renovations and based on an anonymous source prices will go up....if that's possible, lol
