Great store and awesome crew. Came here for some items and was drawn to their French macaroons. Had to get a tower for the dessert table at Thanksgiving. The red velvet, strawberry shortcake and tiramisu were huge hits
It is a great store, but this review is about their catering service. With a large crowd coming for Thanksgiving, we elected to get the Uncle's help. I can say it was amazing. We ordered sushi, string beans, grilled vegetables and a tray of lasagna. First, every dish was outstanding. The freshness and great taste was positively commented on by each guest. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are okay, rather on the expensive site, but it's worth. The transition from Turco's to Uncle Giuseppe's was a success. Congrats.
Love UG's!!! I have been to several of them and they are always clean and helpful. My favorite is Maria of the deli department in the East Meadow location and Danielle of Catering in the Smithtown location. Maria is always working hard and she really handles the pressure of Super Bowl Sunday better than anyone. With Daniele whether it's a last minute order or a pick up order she is accurate, focused and acts like it's not her first rodeo! Great food and great staff. You can't go wrong!
Please Please open an Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace in Maryland!! I promise to be your best customer! We were visiting Long Island and my cousin recommended Uncle Giuseppe's as we wanted to stop and bring home some good Italian cookies. WELL we ended up buying a cooler and coming back with all sorts of meats, cheeses and pastries! Plus a ton of other things, if this marketplace was in Maryland I'd be there weekly stocking up on everything. This one is huge compared to the one in east meadow wear you an barely get a cart down the isle at that one. This one you will have no problems with room. They have a sushi bar in the front and a pizza place then you have the deli which takes up almost the entire length of one side of the building which has almost anything you can think of in it.
