I don't know. I spent $4.99 for semolina twist bread loaf. It was twisted but it was the whitest bread I've ever seen. Last time it was braciole. A piece of beef rolled up. I'm not loving the Uncle G experience so much.
People in North Babylon must be rich; this store is so overpriced. Things I can get anywhere else costs at least 10% more here. So you go for things you can't find at Shop-Rite. Their lobster roll sandwich is quite tasty (but small for the $20 they charge). They do good deli sandwiches (if you're willing to pay for them). Customer service stinks. I complained to someone in person & they shrugged me off with "that's policy." I wrote their "contact us" address & never got a response.
My daughter likes a certain cracker from here, so that's the only reason I make the trip. Wednesday afternoon, stopped in while in the area. Lots of workers on the floor, Only two registers open. Lines were SLOW and long. I literally had two bags of crackers and had to wait nearly 10 minutes to check out. Cashiers tried to move it along quickly but it seemed that every customer had an issue. Wish they had a 10 items or less lane.
I love their selection of products but the service at the deli department is horrible. I usually leave because the wait is awful. They are rude and pretend that you are not there. What a sad way to ruin the store experience
I had to add a star to leave this review. Or I wouldn't have even added a star. Tried to order A. chop salad instead. Got the nastiest, woman that you could ever imagine. The manager said. Well I can't help that. She's nasty with everyone. That's just the way she speaks. And I said, oh, is that the way you run a business? She's nasty, so people have to deal with it? Quality has gotten awful. Along with customer service. Terrible!!
I'm a big fan of this store and the food there and have been a loyal patron but here is my issue . It's July 4th and the wife and I stopped there to grab a few things to bbq and some salads as well - wife asked what time were they closing and was told 9pm and my reaction was WHAT - we were standing at the deli counter with other customers and honestly everyone was kinda shocked- it's the 4th of July and nobody is coming in after 6pm at the latest and where's the owners who've obviously set these store hours -Honestly this i... read more
7/2/25: Uncle Giuseppe's produce has really gone downhill. It used to be good, but the quality and freshness has lost stars in my review. If a produce package says Best Buy July 7, it cannot be trusted. which only means that they do not properly store their produce. When I opened the sale box, all leaves were wilted and the box spelled vile.

Remember Crazy Eddie??? The prices are insane $14.99/lb for squid that looked like it was dead for a week. Wegmans $ 12.99 as fresh as can be Their cheeses are ALL pre-packaged. I'll go to Astoria & get Feta cut in front of me with brine included I'll go to the bronx for my Italian bread made that day. fresh sausage The best veal.
