I've been here a few times now when shopping for clients. This is a small Italian gourmet market. They carry lots of great items for catering and hosting dinner parties. Don't expect to fulfill all your shopping needs here. They have a deli counter here and a refrigerated section that supplies lots of oven ready items like pasta dishes and meats. It pains me to write a negative review as I love Uncle Giuseppe's and always had positive experiences. Yesterday was my first visit to the Port Jefferson location. Among my purchases I picked up 1 1/2 lbs of biscotti. First of all they didn't have the Neapolitan variety. The case had a a few almond and pistachio that I ordered. When I got home these biscotti were rock hard. After spending almost $20 I think it is reasonable to expect fresh items. As I live in Queens, I couldn't make a trip back. Lesson learned. I have always enjoyed shopping at Uncle G,s.However ,I was disappointed with my experience today. First of all.there were no cherries for sale.When I asked a produce worker about this,he said that the store has asked.for them but none have come in for the past few weeks. I find this very puzzling because this is now prime time for cherries and I have been able to get them from other supermarkets(which I will head to tomorrow to buy ).Also,there was a sign on the rotisserie display case that organic chickens were available ... read more

Love this place. Great quality. Veggies and fruit are typically always fresh. Tonnnnns of premade meals that actually taste amazing once reheated in the oven. Chicken parm , mozzarella sticks , shrimp spring rolls and boneless wings just to name a few. Fresh pasta is such a difference from the box. Tons to choose from. Tons of cheese and meats. They even have a flower and candy/chocolate section . Bakery in the back by the frozen aisles . Cannoli dip is excellent . Full gluten free aisle as well. Fairly priced for most items... read more
This place the bomb man... my girl bring me here just now n she be in the ladies room for a looong time - what she doin she be doin lady stuff in the lady room. Smh so she so I so she give me some yogurt to eat while I wait for her to get done with her business Anyway this yogurt is the bomb man it come in a dope pot and it be full of grass fed robotics n lot protein to which make me look like incredible hulk! Fact I just took one of those dna test n I the MF HULK!

Place is great. I wanted Jamaican Jerk soup on wed but the soup area was super low on stock of everything. Otherwise great. I do wish there was a store on the south shore Patchogue area, It would make for great dinner/lunch options.
