Uncle G scammed me today. Drove over to pick up first Darling Clementines of the season. Got home and they tasted like cardboard. Read bag and they are crap from Peru. No mention of Clementine on the bag. My fault for allowing them to pull a fast one on me. Is this what this high priced store is moving towards? Hands Down My Favorite Supermarket PERIOD! The food they sell is unlike anything sold anywhere else in the area. From the cold cut department to the butchers, from the seafood to the hot foods...lets not forget about the incredible bakery & dessert sections of the store! The prices are on the high side but the product being offered isn't sold in stores around. Every single morning I come here to buy rolls for work. Pia welcomes me every single day with a smile and warm welcoming. I will always come here for my fresh mozzarella, and when I'm in a pinch for bruschetta. Some things are priced higher then others, but look where its located. Produce has never let me down. And the pasta is always worth it, especially during Valentines Day.
I LOVE THIS STORE! I have a very busy schedule and often I am faced with having no time to make food for myself. Lucky for me, there is always a WIDE ARRAY of prepared foods to choose from and I am never disappointed with my choices (and I am VERY picky when it comes to my food)! I love coming here. They have so many good Italian food items as well as other basic groceries. Their bakery is FILLED WITH SO MANY SWEETS THAT I WANT TO BUY THEM ALL!

Oh how I adore Uncle G's. As my husband would say, if given the opportunity, I could "really do some damage" shopping here. Let's just say, a trip here is a transcendental experience, but it doesn't come cheap. Store is clean and well organized. Like Whole Foods or Shop Rite, since they have prepared food, there's a little area up front where you can sit and enjoy your meal.
