Total transparency, I work here in the rehab department and have for nearly 3 years. This is a place that values hard work and compassionate staff. From my experience, employees are treated like people, and not just a cog in the wheel. This is a place I would feel comfortable enough to bring a loved one if they needed care, as I work with so many people who I feel legitimately care for our patients as much as I do. University Care Center is an excellent facility with staff who seem to really care. There have been a lot of physical improvements that have given the place a much more homey vibe ad the building is nice, bright and welcoming. The staff at UCC are Incredible. They are very understanding and helpful. I was a little weary of Skilled Nursing but the staff at UCC are amazing. Great care and loving.
My short experience here led me to believe that UCC really does meet their 5 star Medicare rating. The rehab team are knowledgeable, patient and encouraging as well as all the nursing staff who truly does their best at providing care. Activities are provided daily and food menus are updated weekly with appealing options. Would definitely recommend this center!
Courteous, caring, clean. Kind, professional, knowledgeable. Friendly, experienced, thoughtful. All adjectives to describe some of the services I, as a patient, experienced recently. I can only express my gratitude to all the staff for making me feel safe, and cared for with the utmost professionalism and devotion to my recovering health. My grandma was a patient here for a short while after she was discharged from the hospital. The nurses took great care of her and the therapy team was awesome. My grandma expressed how much she liked the facility and would choose to come back again.
