A family member of mine had a quick stay at this facility over the holidays. While there, she was very well taken care of. The staff were very accommodating and tentative to my aunt and communicated well with my family. We're thankful for such great care during hard times.

I had a family member transferred to University Care Center from October 2021-September 2021 and couldn't be more impressed by the staff and care my aunt received during here stay. When my aunt fell ill again in December she requested to return to the facility after her surgery to recover. Once again the staff and nurses did a great job and she was able to discharge weeks later.

Being in a pandemic and having to decide on a 'SNF' for my family member was hard after reading the news and hearing all these things, but I knew that my uncle needed it so we decided on one that was recommended from the case manager at the hospital, which led us here to University Care Center. As hesitant as we were, they took extreme precautions here and took great care of my uncle. His room was always clean and the nurses there showed they really cared. He really liked the food too. My uncle was here for a short time after he went to the hospital. PT and OT encouraged him to work hard and get stronger before he went home. It was nice being able to visit him even with the COVID precautions. I'm glad that we were able to choose this facility as they took really great care of him!

I am thankful to work with caring and loving people on a daily basis. I wake up happy to go to work . I have worked at different facilities and companies but UCC feels like home. We all work together to help get our residents better and to their best abilities.

This was the first time I've had a family member stay in a skilled nursing facility for rehab and I would continue to choose this facility again if we had to. It was scary to decide because of the pandemic but they followed protocols and screened us each time we entered. They also asked for our vaccination status and our recent COVID tests so I knew they took it very seriously. Every department from nursing to rehab to social services was helpful during his entire stay. My family and I are so grateful!

We decided on this facility for my uncle after his hospital stay since it was close to home and they allowed visitation for me and my family members. The facility is actually really clean and they have 2 pretty outdoor patios! The therapy team worked with my uncle which really helped his strength and endurance. My uncle doesn't ask for much but whenever he pressed his call light, he was helped quickly. The nurses were very attentive and helpful whenever we had questions!

I have been an employee here at University Care Center just under 2 yrs. I have been a nurse for 26 yrs, and have worked in a variety of settings. I have to say hands down this is a great facility. The "team" mentality is very strong here. Which makes this facility more like a family. We all share the same values and commitment which is we are here for our residents and their families. I would recommend University Care Center to friends and family as well as anyone looking to join a great team.
