A horrible company. After paying $32 for 4 hours of parking (unbeknownst to me this charge was 4 times higher than the ******** city meters) in downtown ********, I was 15 minutes late returning because of a delay in the Ferry returning to the city and received a $43 citation (works out to $3 per minute). I appealed, which was not easy, given that a search for the web address took me to a different site, and immediately received a response that the appeal was denied. This company is deceptive in their business model. As per the complaints I have reviewed, the equipment is frequently not working or difficult to use. You must find another machine when it is not working, yet they can send someone out to provide a citation and the equipment is still not working. There is one lot at ***************** they charge $30/hour!. This lot is frequently empty and the fee is not evident until you go to use the machine and this machine has a tendency to not accept credit cards. I hope the businesses wh... read more
Price gouging. $35 flat fee for parking lot in ******************. No live employees there. Took five (5) attempts using different credit cards before terminal processed payment (or so I thought). Machine message that paper receipts are NOT issued to place in your windshield. Came back two (2) hours later to find citation under my windshield wiper. Same thing happened to friends we were with at the time. Filed a complaint that day as directed and no response. So $35 parking fee is now $63. Beware and do not use this lot.
I parked in this lot for about 20 minutes to take some photos of the beach when I arrived in **********. Thinking that this would be a reasonable place to park with a reasonable price. I paid the fee. I got the text on my phone saying the parking fess were good for what I thought would be 24 hours. I left shortly after taking my photos, probably not even 20 minutes. I've been working as a Parking Enforcer a few weeks for **********************; an offshoot of ***. This evening, the regional manager, new hire I must add, called me to inform me I'm fired. What???? Why? He replied there are complaints from city employees. He won't even tell me what the complaints are!!!! I have a right to know!! I haven't had a thing to do with city employees. Terrible business practice! I came with my family to ******** Maine today. 6 adults and 2 kids, stayed for the weekend. I parked at the Unified Parking Lot off ******** st. It was a Sunday. Most of the spaces on the street or free. But I decided to park in the lot because it was convenience. I paid for two hours. I was the only car in the lot.
