On 3/12/22 I paid to park in the area of *************** and McAnsh in ********. I used one of two meters as the other was not working and I had to move to a different lot that was under this vendor. The machine processed my transaction as approved. It did not give me an option to add time and no receipt was provided. 2 1/2 hours later I return to a $63.00 citation advising "Non Payment". This has to be a scam-no one ever responded back when asked for address to send payment .web site was not found so sketchy. No number to call to ask either and not putting my credit card online to a company unknown,and may not be legitimate. Parked at ************* at 3/29/22 time 12:36 and stayed til 2:25! When we tried to use the credit card machine the option to select hourly was not given and was too late and card charged $44! Another customer standing there said she had same situation happen week prior and was there to check again If it changed! Went to Kiosk on 3/26/22. Put in credit card. Said they charged $6.60 per hour, which was high, but was attending a performance at ********************** right near the lot and did not want to be late.Less than 3 hours later, when I got out there was a citiation for $63.00! It would only be $43.00 if I paid it by 3/29/22.Filed an appeal. Got an email saying it was declined and I still needed to pay the $43.00. What a scam! I did so today.
More of a question to ******* Parking Company. Parking at Caddy's2! I paid $6.00 for one hour of parking. The ticket said $6.00 plus 7% State Parking Tax = $0.42 and I was charged $6.61. So where is the $.19 cents extra that I was charged? Nowhere on the kiosk doe it say taxes are added. And the breakdown on the ticket only mentions the $.42 for the State Tax and the $6.00 for the hour.Where is the $.19????????? If you are going to charge me that extra I want to know what it is for!
I was verbally abused by ** Parking Co employee named ** on the evening of 3/24/2022 in the parking lot near the corner of Main Street and ******************* just after dark. I was over my hour time limit by just a few minutes and when I returned to my car in a pitch black parking lot I was greeted by ** making loud remarks that I got a ticket with a grin on his face and he made me feel very uncomfortable because he was standing behind my car. I had a parking lot attendant at ****** pass ** literally threatening to damage my car while I was away. He followed me around the parking lot while I was finding the phone number to the company. I asked who his boss was and he said he didn't have one because he owned the parking lot. He was lying the owner is *********************. Let me first state that I do not leave negative reviews as a rule. I don't like the practice, but in this case, Unified Parking Partners is so egregious and unethical that I am breaking my own rule. My husband and I have used the *************** lot multiple times without issue, as it is close to our favorite restaurant. Before, it was simple: pay, get the receipt, add to dash. This company is the biggest scam in the world. They should be arrested for their scam business practices. if you park in one of the areas find a pay station that works and print the copy and put it in your window. They purposely have broken pay station machines in numerous areas forcing people to either give up trying to pay them or to keep looking for a machine in the area that works. They can conveniently give you a ticket even if you have paid but did not receive a print out from their machines. And for sure you will get ... read more
