Parked in Handicap spot at ********************, as in several times past, with no issues. Came out from the restaurant with a $43 ticket to pay by 5/31 and then increases to $63 thereafter. What a scam. There are no signs by the handicap parking to pay. We have never paid in the past. Most ALL handicap parking is free of charge in the county. **************** buying up parking and jacking the prices. Pulled into a parking garage stayed 2 hrs. Didn't notice the small sign that said $40. They charged me $44 on my card. What a ripoff.

These machines are rigged to get more money. They don't give you a receipt even if you want one because it doesn't give you that option.

Worst bunch of crooks around. No signs around saying that it's a flat rate parking and that it cost $44.00 to park in there mud hole of a lot. When you go to the pay station it has no postings about cost to park. It says put your tag number and then your card then when you take your card out that's when you see you have been charged the $44.00 and you get no receipt of any kind to prove anything. I can't even give this company any stars. On 4/22/22 I paid to park on **********, Sarasota, **. for 3 hours. The company does not provide any time stamped receipts from their payment kiosk. Payment for parking has cleared on my credit card. When I returned to my car I had a citation for $63.00. I have tried to contact this company but they are very hard to track down. This company is quite simply legally ripping people off and any business that allows Unified Parking to maintain their lots is an accomplice to the crime. I was 18 minutes late getting back to my car and found a citation. That is to be expected and it is my fault for being late. However, the $43 fee is outrageous. The "late fee" also goes up to $63 if not paid within 2 days, and $83 if not paid in two weeks! Shameful.

I also believe this company is a scam. I did get a parking violation. I did decide to pay it. but their website is so vague and has no reference as to what city governments they represent. they have idel threat on the back of their violation receipt that says they can affect certain things that they probably cannot. overall i think it is a scam.

I was attending the sand display on ********** Beach and we were looking for a place to park. I pulled into a ******* Parking Company lot behind **************** which indicated they **** by the plate. I entered my debit card info into the kiosk and received a charge of $55.00. I thought there was a lesser charge, so I entered my info again, thinking there had to be a mistake the first time. They gave me a parking ticket as soon as I pulled into the lot and hadn't had time to get out of my car. Then denied the appeal even though the picture clearly shows me grabbing my wallet as I had just arrived. The denial had no explanation justification or recourse for further contact or action.
