First of all, our bartender was great. However, this place double charges your card and holds it for over a week. Then when you call, to find out why, you get a smart mouth manager named Adam that is way too busy first thing in the morning to help you and blames it on the bank for the charge. Or better yet, an account manager will tell you it will reverse Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.... Would I go back, never. Go somewhere legitimate like Dave & Busters or Main Event.
It is a nice idea to take the family on a hot summer night. It will cost you though. To bring our 3 kids and 2 friends cost almost 200$ for dinner (burgers) 1 game of laser tag and a 10$ game card. (Games and laser tag just for kids) Definitely, not doing it again!
Do not bring a homemade birthday cake for a birthday party. My son does not eat store bought cakes. We walked in for his birthday party and I had to take the cake home.
Service was not uptown for sure! So sad could be a great place to hang but the food and service??????????? Suck!!!!!
So this was our families second time trying this place. And we have to give a VERY big thank you to our waiter Devin! After waiting a good 20min to have someone take our order we stopped him to ask for help, turns out there was a misunderstanding and he was our waiter. He apologize and took our order and was great. Customer service is very poor at Uptown Alley. We had our son's birthday party here today. When we called to book it, they asked for an estimated number of attendees and said we would pay for the actual number the day of. We told them we are guessing 10 children and they let us know there is a minimum of 8 party guests. We only had 7 party guests show up, but they still made us pay for 10 at $25/child! Worst place I have ever been to for watching a NCAA football game. I would never recommend it to any college football fan. Management's inability to change a channel so that the game of the hometown team can be watched was a disgrace. Just as you don't go into a bar in Pittsburgh on a Sunday afternoon and the Steelers game is not being shown but the Eagles game is, I don't expect to go into a Metro Phoenix bar and not see the ASU Sun Devils game on but the UofA game is playing....D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-I-N-G
