They responded timely but when I told them what I wanted they assured me they could help you and give me the interest rate and loan amount I requested. I was upfront with all my information and when the papers were drawn up, then all the figures changed, (the fees they charged and the interest rate were higher. As a result my credit score lowered because of their inquiry. I was upset. If they could not give me what I requested I would not have let them access my credit score. They are not to be trusted.. This lenders' rates looked good, but the follow-up with Andrew Acuna was poor and unprofessional. Andrew did not answer my questions via email and wanted to speak to me on the phone. I do not have a cell phone and am unable to call long distance from work so asked if they had an 800 number. Andrew gave me one, but when I called it I reached another member of the staff who complained that it was his personal cell phone! I asked if he would give Andrew a message to call me but I never heard from him after that. Needless to say... read more

The quote on Zillow was nice but when I spoke to andrew 30 minutes later, the rate changed and he also told me the lender credit was no longer available. He blamed it on "I.T." not keeping up with rates but that's called a bait and switch.

A more frustrating experience than necessary which made me wonder why I even bothered as I could have easily paid off the existing mortgage. Who is Vatche - I received Emails from a number of people at WV Mortgage looking for my business but not he. When I went to the office and asked for those sending the Email was told by the one who came forward they were all on his team. I was not able to get a good faith estimate from the lender to compare with the numbers from other lenders.

After two months of getting paperwork to these folks, I was just now informed that they won't be able to close my loan after all. I had previously been told everything was all set. There were also frustrations along the way. I explained that I would be traveling and wanted to get them everything they needed before I left, but they didn't check over the stuff I sent and so they didn't catch when a scan wasn't clear enough. That resulted in a month's delay.

I spoke to Anthony Brown who did not help me whatsoever. I spoke to him on the phone and through several emails. I have a credit score of 740 and my cosigner had a score of 730, there was absolutely nothing wrong with our credits. I sent Anthony all of the documents he asked for and 3 weeks later he still hasn't gotten back to me. I called him back and he didn't answer my phone calls nor my emails. He completely disregarded my application and for what exactly? Very discourteous and I would not recommend to anyone.

I know my credit rating isnt good but was looking for advise on moving toeards a home. He called me at first but I never heard from him again. Common courtesy would warrant a return call to advise me that nothing could be done. To me this is an agent who only cares about himself and the almighty dollar. If you do read this dont even bother with a return call i dont want to hear from you. My sister will get her loan from someone who cares about people.
