I would strongly caution anyone considering Value Added Moving & Storage. I was quoted approximately $3,500 to move my 1,600 sq. ft. townhome. I paid $1,468.84 on 2/4 and another $471 on 2/18 in good faith to reserve my move. Then on moving day, I was told my items suddenly required a “full truck” and that I would owe nearly $8,000 to proceed. That is more than double the original quote. Don’t use Value added moving! We feel like fools for using them. They are a broker who farms you off to some unknown mover who didn’t have a valid license to transport household goods from state to state, We were told our things would be delivered on a Tuesday, but then received no communication about when our things would be delivered. These people are thieves and scammers, trying to hide real reviews. They will withdraw money without permission and withhold your items until you pay them extra hidden fees. DO NOT USE.
They will steal your money to try and force you to use their company. Scammers to the max. Use fake profiles to make themselves look good in reviews.
They scam people. Friend had a terrible experience.
SCAMMERS.....BEWARE of these crooks. They tell you one thing then screw you over by withdrawing money illegally from your account without your consent for the amount withdrawn. They seem to add on things after agreement price was contracted.
be very careful they just took out money out of the account without even getting authorization or confirming with is prior to making a decision very shady company lots of hidden red checkmarks in the fine print they’ll take you to the cleaner
