They are quite organized, including providing an Uber ride while my vehicke was in their care. The were also timely. The major problem that I find with them, is that a company as large as Vandergrift, charges you extra if you are paying with credit card. It is quite an inconvenience in today's world and may affect my decision to keep patronizing them in future.
I have a new 2025 CR-V. I bought it about 6 months ago and the driver's seat cover is starting to wear out. The service department told me the wear is not covered under the warranty. The car is just 6 months old. I do not accept that.
We took in our car for a rear differential fluid exchange. Our advisor noted with a picture that our car had a dirty air filter and that it should be replaced. When I pointed out that I had replaced this filter just a few days ago with the proof of exposing filter he apologized that what the technician had done was wrong. They have to improve many things.
They take advantage of people who are needing a car to move to work or somewhere else, for being a new person looking for a car for the first time they want to take out until the last penny but as something was urgent for me to start moving to my work and to other places then I had to agree, apart from the fact that I did not want one of their insurances and as much as I said that they did not continue to insist on me again and again with a very altered voice and almost trying to tell me stupid
Will try to scam you and get over on you with OTD and warranty prices and fees.
The visit took over 4 hour when we already had financing pre approved. The sales reps lied about trade in value and added fees before we came in.
They charged me around 10k that my insurance paid for addressing the rate bites but they did not do a quality job, the fenders, wiper liquid tank etc were also bit and despite stating that during service they didn't even bother to do, such an unreliable, over priced service, careless attitude, very poor in service and completely unreliable
My attendant, Chris Lapid, always treats me with respect and kindness. But this time I went in for an oil change and the one who took care of my car told me that after inspecting my shocks, he said that they failed the inspection in both the right and the left shocks. He said they were leaking and I needed immediate repairs.. I only have 39,800 miles on my car (which BTW was the third car we bought from Vandergriff) and I found that hard to believe.
