I brought my vehicle in at 9:00 AM on a Saturday for two issues: 1. A dashboard message that says “Maintenance Required Soon” 2. A right rear door handle that fell off the first time it was ever used, which appears to be a manufacturing defect. I have been a regular customer at this location; however, the level of service has declined significantly. Given the cost of the services, I was prepared to wait over three hours, which I had anticipated. My primary concerns are as follows: During the service, my second floor mat was removed and discarded without my consent. I was told it was done for “safety concerns” and that it could not be retrieved. If there was an issue, it could have been placed on the passenger side or rear seat instead of being thrown away. 03/16/2025 Apparently the service techs either do not know what replacing a crush washer means or they do not know how to torque down a bolt. Leaked oil everywhere right after the Service. 6/21/2025 Service Advisor Luis Jimenez was not pleasant. He wanted $750 for Fluids and an air filter. When I said no, he rushed me through the free tire rotation and asked for a 5 star review. Then he offered a $30 oil change on my next visit. I had an amazing experience at Vandergriff Toyota thanks to my service advisor, Mike. He was professional, honest, and extremely attentive. Mike went out of his way to make sure everything was convenient for me — he even ordered me an Uber ride home and back to the dealership while my car was being serviced. He explained the work clearly, kept me updated, and never pressured me into anything unnecessary. Truly above and beyond service — I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend asking for Mike!
Horrible experience in the service department with LUIS. Went in for a simple oil change, requested for a ride home and back since i had to get ready for work and got denied stating that it would only take half an hour. Ended up waiting an hour and a half for my vehicle, im late for work and frustrated. Needs some more honesty when working with people's time. Will not be coming back to LUIS anytime soon. I also recommend anyone to NOT service with him.
