Disaster of back office and customer service I would stay away from Venture if you want any form of customer service. We signed up with Venture in February of 2021. The lack of good personnel created a mess of a situation where we could not get our system finalized and installed until October of 2021. Customer Service at this point is still lacking and we still do not have the permits for our solar installation closed out from our town. At this point, I'm not sure if it will ever get closed out as the permit probably expired... read more

One star is too much. Hi everyone, I got to know them last year when I bumped into some sales people at Bj”s, after get qualified they schedule a visit with someone who showed up in my house on time and explained everything about the panels, price and finance. Every other appointment I had after that went well so we decided to go with them. The day I signed the contract I was told that the insulation would be in February 2022, we meet in October of 2021. Worst company ever! Two of my Solar panel broken down after half year, they scheduled me a service appointment 3 weeks later after my call. No one shows up on my appointment day, they rescheduled to next week and same thing happened. After 6 times of rescheduling still no one come to fix my broken panel, they always have different excuses for me, such a liar. Nice pitch, little support when there are any issues I got Venture Solar installed and turned on in December of 2021. The setup itself was a mostly smooth process with a few red flag exceptions, including: 1. Being sold on a critter guard, and then when it was never installed, eventually being told it was on back order. There is still no critter guard, and no communication on if or when it might be installed. 2. Stay away!!!! 0 stars stay away. They promised me and did not live up to there promises. From damaging my house to have there workers drop stuff off the house. Paying double for electricity costs. 0 stars stay away!!!

Frustrating experience The salesperson I had was good. When I asked about some poor reviews I had seen, he said well, you can’t make everyone happy. I had hoped I wouldn't be one of the unhappy people, but, my experience has been awful. First they installed the panels in a configuration that I did not approve in my contract. The engineering department was apparently to blame. Since they were aligned to say the word “TO,” I asked that they be fixed because it was embarrassing. Not recommended; promises not delivered The Venture Solar salesman promised that our panels would be installed and operational by the next season. It took almost a year after we signed to get our panels up and running. There were many miscommunications between Venture Solar and our power company, so we had to keep calling Venture to apply pressure and ask for updates. Our point-of-contact kept changing. too, so we never knew whom we should call at Venture. The whole experience was way more stressful than it should have been.... read more

Great start, incredibly disappointing follow-through. We began looking into solar more than a year ago. After reading the reviews and checking around online (and in our neighborhood), we decided to go ahead with Venture. Our salesperson was excellent: answered our questions, took into account that we have a metal shingle roof and a converted attic, and said that they would work alongside the roofing company to ensure a proper fit. Customer service is sub par . my experience was terrible ! They claimed to have the best reviews, which must be a hoax because I was actually asked to give a review before installation , why I ask ? The rep replies to me there's a competition going on and it would help him out to submit review before installation FRAUD!!! and I'm still waiting for venture to patch holes left in sheet rock by install crew more than 30 days after install. I would not recommend venture to no one!
