VersaTube sold our nonprofit an expensive unit and did not ship the end pieces with the order. We took pictures and sent them to their company. They knew from several correspondences from us that the pieces WERE NOT sent with the unit; but told our Executive Director there was NOTHING they could do about it. They refused to send the end pieces and refused to refund the $300 that they owed back to our charity. Recommendedwhen purchasing the building I was informed that the framing would come in first followed by the roof and siding allowing for assembling of the frame prior to siding and roofing getting there. The framing was the last thing to actually show up. upon assembling the framing we found that there were 12 pieces missing that stopped the process and we could not complete the building immediately. when I called versatube, they were closed for the day and I left a message. framing items were missing from my order. they would like me to pay for expedited shipping out of my own pocket even though it was their error. not to mention the amount of time it takes to get the structure delivered
Their shipping partner sucks. They misrouted my order multiple times. The best Versatube could do was to say its not our fault. Unfortunately, this does seem to be a pattern looking a other BBB complaints. While I cannot speak to the quality of the product as of yet, as I still have not received it, the customer service received from them and the shipper has been sub-par. If you are flexible in your installation times, order away, but if you need your building on a particular day, choose another company,
Ordered a 30x40x12 building. When you get your shipment you’re supposed to take everything out and inventory it. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough room or time to do this and it was just getting to cluttered up. So I decided to just assemble it. All was going well, instructions and drawings are easy enough to read. Unfortunately I couldn’t move forward on the siding, because there were two pieces missing for the garage door headers. I ordered mine Oct 20 with a shipping date of Nov 4, still nothing, no shipping date, no answered emails, sat on hold for 30 minutes before a recorded message said to leave a voice mail.. and now, my first payment is due for it lol, I wouldn't recommend at all
Can’t get a reply email or call from versatube on a carport extension I need. Terrible communication.
While it is a quality building, the customer service has been horrible. Trying to get support is a nightmare. I wish I would have had more time to shop for another manufacturer, one that has a better reputation for support.
Customer service is horrible. Called the TN and AZ numbers no answer. Called the 1 800 number a couple different times to speak about designing my own and receiving a quote and my 1st call I was on hold for 18 mins. Started as the 3rd person in line to speak with someone and got down to the next person in line then I received a recording telling me "no representatives are available to speak at this time, leave a message".
