They closed the pool the previous year before I bought the house. Called them back cause the owner said that’s who they used and when they came to open the pool they said I needed a new valve. I did not, all that was wrong was the metal pin in the handle was still protruding and not allowing the handle to seat fully. 🤦🏻♀️
This company was a complete disaster from start to finish. Their contractors showed up at 4 AM to start work with zero notice or acknowledgment. They left chicken bones in the yard/pool area, which my dogs got into after breaking through the temporary barrier they put up. The dogs jumped in trying to eat the bones — extremely dangerous and completely avoidable. The work was done completely out of order. They used to be great, but after 15 years it appears they no longer care about quality, send new techs out instead of using consistent teams, and not only have been letting my d&e filter run itself into the ground and cut corners in cleaning and filtering, but they now won’t return overpayment after a month. They were fired for not closing the gates behind them repeatedly and endangering my dog. Went with a much better company who has been more honest and my pool already looks better after a month. Since they’ve closed the Angola location I’m done with them! I went to the Fort Wayne location and any question you have they can never help you! Their solution to everything is here is a business card text this number and we’ll get back with you eventually! What kind of customer service is that ? You can’t even answer basic or simple questions? If I could give negative stars I definitely would. The do not honor anything they say. Install in 6 weeks is lies. They do bare minimum to make it look like its ready but nothing is working properly. They put the cheapest equipment in and everything starts having issues. You call and they dont honor warranty. They tell you its the peak season and the wait time is approximately 6weeks. They well never finish the job!
There are dozens of reviews online of this company committing blatant fraud by taking people’s money and never finishing the pool. It appears they are running as a pyramid scheme. They rely on the next customers money in order to move forward on the other customers pool. I’m most, cases, they take 90% of the customers money and then never finish the pool. Avoid this company like the plague.
Great communication in the beginning and as I was getting to contracting they completely wasted my families time having me drive 1hr 20m to a meeting they weren’t ready for that I had followup up on several times. Would not recommend.
I chose this company because I believed that having a licensed pool contractor meant the project would be completed professionally and that the license holder would stand behind the work. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. While the licensed contractor’s name and license were associated with my project, much of the work was performed by subcontractors from Cool Pools LLC.
