RecommendedVery engaging during pre construction, but once they break ground the nightmare begins. Complete failing score on communication, scheduling, and follow-up during the construction phase, but also less than a year later on warranty covered items. Tried many, many times calling, texting, messaging on their job board and no response from anyone. No timeline of when and if someone will come address the warranty issues. Good luck if you’re having Outdoor Living do your project.

Absolutely the worst customer service department EVER!!! They lie, spin stories, blame it on other people, they’re rude and then they threaten you with not getting your repairs done if you complain!!! It would not shock me in the least if I have other things go wrong with my pool that they cause!!!
Absolutely not. Scammers. I had a very poor experience. The communication was inconsistent and it was difficult to get updates on the project. The work took much longer than originally promised. When the job was finally completed, there were several issues that were not addressed properly. Attempts to get corrections were met with delays or incomplete fixes. Overall, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
My pool was "Completed" in February of this year. We spent over $170,000 and to this day, we are having lights popping out, leaks from the back of the pool, stains and peeling everywhere, the trough around the hot tub does not fill with water, and tne heater has been broken since 2 weeks after we made our final payment in February. Richard does not do anything he says and refused to communicate.
We purchased our home from a family member this year who had used Juliano’s for years to open and close the pool. Naturally, we chose to stick with them for our pool opening, but the entire experience was a disaster from communication to technical execution. I called Alan Smith Pools over 2½ weeks ago to schedule an inspection and receive a quote. They came out promptly and completed the inspection, but that’s where the service ended. Since then, I have called four separate times over the past two weeks trying to get the quote. Initially, I was told to leave a voicemail for the person who handled the inspection. I wouldn’t trust someone to take care of my pool when they can’t even conduct themselves with basic decency online. Kevin, the owner, has no problem publicly insulting elderly women, calling people out of their names, and treating complete strangers with disrespect. A business is a reflection of its leadership, and his online behavior speaks volumes about his character. Professionalism doesn’t end when you log off social media.
