DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! SLUMLORDS at the very least! We were $50 short on our rent. That was due to them NOT knowing whether they wanted to charge a $50 late fee or a $100 late fee. We were late, and we sent in the extra $50 late fee. Upon doing so, they emailed saying they would send the entire balance back in the mail because it was short $50. I moved in back in Dec 2022 & I totally regret it. I did a walk through with management & I should of declined but my lease was up & needed a place to move to. It is very hard to reach management & maintenance. Leave messages & emails & no one responds till if your lucky 2 and even a week later. My kitchen sink leaks & show management on walk through but never got fixed. Stove only has 1 burner that works. Refrigerator has crusted mold on it. If I can give they ass zero stars I would. I’ve been staying in Vinebrook for 2 years. I wanted to do a house transfer. So when i originally spoke with someone they told me all i had to do was fill out an application and show my income verification totally fine. I fill out the application never got a chance to even send in my income. So someone called and said that I got denied how could I get denied if I never sent you my income verification. They are very unprofessional you can never get in touch with a live person, they are quick to make sure you pay the rent but cannot get maintenance or even answer the phone I’m not able to access the online portal to pay rent so they still charge a late fee even though they will not answer the phone. My heat was out and it was below 50 and it took the maintenance ppl 3 times to come to my house and still not fix the problem until I called the supervisor
I’ve made numerous maintenance requests and have been waiting since last year to get my AC unit repaired. I’ve called and left emails numerous times and they keep closing my work tickets. Kinda wish I never moved into a VineBrook home. I just want my AC fixed.
Please keep it moving when it comes to this company, they are scammers and taking people's hard earned money as if life isn't already hard and difficult. I was approved, had a move in date and then I was given a denial letter after signing the lease and they would not return my money that I gave them to hold the home until after I signed the lease... Please Beware of the Company, use at ur own risk.
I live with my granddaughters and daughter. My daughter has 6 and 1/2 years clean. I’ve never seen anyone fight so hard and come so far to put their lives right. We applied for a house. I live with them!!! I’m 63 and have impeccable record. We were refused because of my daughter. This is prejudice, this is wrong!!!! This company stinks of what’s wrong with this country! Now my grandchildren are out of another potential home!
Been stuck living in here and hate it. When they first got the properties they never looked to see if anything needed to be fixed. Raised rent 2 times. And you as the resident have to fix everything and keep up everything. The house im in its poorly insulated, it has a hole you look outside of. Foundation inside is cracked. I moved into a Vinebrook rental home in July 2022. It has been nothing but problems! I had to leave my rental home 4days ago due to visible Toxic MOLD on the walls. It's making me lightheaded, horrible migraines, skin rash,etc. Even my dog has mold spores!!! Every time you call you get an answering service I called the day I had to leave my home with an urgent matter and nobody has yet to reach out to me.
