First of all, It's very hard reaching someone from vinebrook, email this, email that just no contact. I did a scope of work for one of their properties & the guy I did the work for (ALLEN B******* didnt pay me, he was also trying to cut corners. He stop answering my calls, texts & emails, even had the nerve to say he would block my number. A company that keeps an attorney on hand so they can do things like not except your payments in office and have technical problems with online payments so that means you pay fifty dollar late fee and then lawyer fees until the next month it all starts again until you can afford your own attorney its so sad I am away fighting for my country when they started their games with me I actually had to come all the way to Missouri because of they on have answering service no live people to help you I am trying to make it through my ... read more
Terrible company, run by terrible people, its crazy how what they do isn’t criminal but it’s the world we live in they own everywhere like a monopoly adjusts prices and makes finding an affordable home impossible.
I’ve been having furnace issues and with the weather being only 20+ degrees outside. Plus I have a 2 year grandchild who resides with me. I put work orders in and the maintenance workers haven’t fixed anything plus I have to wait an additional 3 days before a worker reaches out when it’s considered a emergency. You call the corporate office to get more detailed info on when a technician will be out and they can never tell you when but to go to their website and check and that gives you no information employees are rude there... read more
WORST COMPANY EVER! They are taking advantage of people and it burns me up inside, I never in my life experience a slum lord until I rented from this company. I wont even go into all the things wrong and the unsanitary living conditions my family and I had to endure the short time we rented from this company. Well we’ve been having problems since we moved in on June 2 2021. Good thing I have video of everything from day 1 until now! First off their is a roof issue and we addressed it to them 9 days after moving in. They literally emailed me back a 2 weeks later and said we are responsible for replacing gutters. This has been an ongoing issue for going on 2 years. Now we have a bigger issue. My water bill was over $500-$600 monthly since October. This is by far the worst company ever. It started shortly after moving in with electrical issues then the roof starting leaking and after maintenance request that were constantly being closed saying that they were completed and never were. We went 6 months trying to get it fixed and the mold that started to build up in my sons ceiling, another 3 months for them to come and repair that. If I could I would leave a 0 star review. I own a home beside a property owned by Vinebrook Homes and a huge tree on their property fell across their entire back yard and destroyed our fence. After reaching an actual person she was rude and simply stated that the tree falling was an act of god and they were not responsible for damages to my property! I asked for a management number and was told there is no supervisor or cooperate number! This group buys homes and then allows them to be in disrepair.
We have two small children and our furnace quit working on December 26 during freezing temperatures. It is now December 30 and Vinebrook has done nothing except stop in on the 27th and say they would get a part to fix it. The man even joked that it could take months to get parts. There has been no further communication from the company even though I have repeatedly tried to contact them. Meanwhile our home is very cold even with space heaters. Unacceptable.
