Well, I’ve been fairly pleased with this actual service. The app is horrific. You just keep looping around when you go into apps and features. Lots of the actual apps and features aren’t really accessible through the app although they look like it. And there seems to be no way to listen to your voicemail, recording greeting or change it from the app, which is ridiculous. How else can you do it if you can’t do it from the app itself. They’re way too big accompany for this app to be so bad.
Can’t pick up the incoming calls from app. Takes a lot of time to connect to call.
It needs a dark mode for light sensitive people. The app is useless if you are light sensitive.
Anytime you go to settings to change anything (e.g update the account PW), the app refreshes a d puts you on the Settings home, as soon as you switch to a different app for say saving the info. Another example is at call forwarding place. App development is not a rocket science anymore, Vonage needs to be better.
I have no idea why would this app (if used with wifi/data option) crashes iOS and have to reboot the phone. This is happening for weeks now. And if I try to use it with Cellular only, it won’t dial any call!
The “Recent” calls tab does not update in real time, regularly, or at all. Even swiping down on the page to force an update it still does not. Why is this not synced or updated with calls shown in “Recent Activity”? (menu under: “•••More tab” then select “Manage My Home Account” then select “Recent Activity”).
The app used to be serviceable, but now it's not doing the thing I installed it for -- answering my home Vonage calls when I'm away from home. It picks up and appears to be connecting and then nothing happens. This is especially frustrating because I have an incarcerated family member that I cannot just call back when his calls get dropped by the app. Please fix this app, I am a paying Vonage customer.
