Be aware that all your calls from your iPhone, even ones made purely with wifi, will show your iPhone's Caller ID to people you call -- NOT your Vonage number as you'd expect. If you're using your Vonage line for business, it will reveal your personal cell number. Sorry Vonage - you were close, but this is a deal breaker for me - and not clearly disclosed up front.
I tested an outgoing call and it showed my cellphone caller ID not my voyage account phone number. For me this defeated the purpose of returning calls via my cellphone to persons I do want not want to share my cell number with but already have my office (Vonage) phone number. The help email function only gets the same form response whether you ask a specific question or none at all.
Many of the outgoing calls made with this application have showed up on my AT&T bill for the month. I then had to spend hours with AT&T to get credit for those calls. AT&T has been really nice about refunding those charges but gave me a final notification that these charges are the result of the calls not being handled properly by the Vonage app and needs to be addressed by Vonage and no further credit on this account will be given. It is incorrectly mentioned that it works with iPad. The moment I downloaded and open the app in iPad it threw the error message that it is not compatible with iPad at this moment. What a disaster.
The concept is good but needs work. 1. Should be able to use Internet from phone. 2. There is no option to have three way calls. 3. Calls drop 4. Echos and/or static can be heard at times. 4. When incoming calls come in on the phone there is no option to put call on hold or merge the two calls or retrieve the Vonage program. 5. Not really a very good app .bcz sometimes giving an error while making international calls
Needs ability to receive calls as well as make them. Otherwise not bad. Incoming seems clearer than outgoing; people I call frequently say voice quality is poor.
I get prompted for password every day telling me that my account is invalid. After sometime it starts to work all by itself!
