It was working fine until this last update and now every call has a 3 second delay.
hard to establish call, it always say "line is temporarily busy. . . ." Access numbers are also useless. . .
Bad quality. Need improvement
Today I called about canceling this acct, it has bad reception, drop calls, delayed connection and temporary out of service notifications way to often. The rep from customer service said my last charge was going to be pro-rated (since I'm just half way through my billing month) and when they transfer me to the cancelation department I was told the full amount was charge and there was no way to pro-rate a bill. Need improvement
I moved to Germany a few years back and brought my Vonage box with me, which proved to be a fantastic way to stay in touch with my friends in the states as it made it super-easy for them to call me. I was hoping that this app would allow me to send and receive calls via my iPhone but unfortunately it requires a U.S. cellphone number in order to work, therefore I can't use it. I'm not sure why they require this as other apps used to place and receive calls (Skype, Viber, etc.) don't have the same restrictions.
I use Vonage extensions everyday. The app is nice and finally we get iPhone 5 support now, BUT the data network calling never works. When you try to make a call with data instead of using your cell minutes the app just hangs. 3G-4g-lte or wifi none of them work with it. Cellular calling works great however but because data doesn't work I pay alot for minutes.
When I first started using this app last year, it was an awesome application with great quality. However, for the past 6 months, call quality continuously degraded. Moreover, several other problems with the app surfaced. Frequently, the app prompts me for PIN even though my iPhone is registered. It works if I hang up without entering the pin and try again.
