Well!!! why do I need app VONAGE to call from my cell if my cell plan is nation wide and I can call any body with my cell phone The only reason I downloaded this app was because I wanted to call international numbers using extension with out dialing Access numbers or pins but it doesn't work that way you can only dial numbers in the US from you contacts directly with out pins or access numbers but like I said in the beginning I have my Cell phone to do that,,, going back to spending lots of money on calling cards or waiting ... read more
Vonage has many military service members living overseas with your service. We cannot use this app with our cell service providers because it we don't have stateside cell phone numbers. You really need to offer an app similar to magicjack were we are able to use our vonage number over wifi and 3G to talk with our friends and family stateside. Otherwise this app proves to do a disservice to you service members overseas!
First of all, it takes forever to get connected when i call international. Most of time it wouldn't even go thru. Second, no wifi support. It is common sense that people do not want to waste their cellular plan minutes and expects such app to be able to make calls using wifi too when you are paying the bill to vonage. Please fix this app and bring the wifi to the app so we can call using wifi as well
this app is really very very bad
Used to be *just* about convenient. Long wait after dialing numbers was bearable, since once connected call clarity was fine. Now, I cannot call International cellphone numbers. Calls do not go through. Please fix bugs.
This app does not work how they claim it does. It's NOT a "one button"dial process. It takes forever for the app to load...them you dial a number...takes an eternity for it to connect...then it will ask you for your pin...and finally you have to RE-ENTER the number your trying to call again!!! Not worth it. Don't download until they put out a upgrade that works the way they claim it does!
Sometimes it won't recognize my pin so u have to enter again, sometimes it won't recognize phone number so I have to enter slowly. Sometimes even correct numbers will say I have enter incorrect number.
It's such crappy buggy app - I even wonder whether Vonage has a hidden agenda to charge you by providing this app. Like many people mentioned here as well as online forums, the app erratically direct you a regular phone call where u have to enter PIN and entire number again!!! The app quit by it's own randomly. You have to take a coffee break between pressing a key and it's entry on the screen ..
