The quality of voice needs a lot of improvement! Better use Skype, Viber, etc
I am not sure where I went wrong. I registered my mobile phone, got a PIN, and was given an access number. It all worked. However, when I installed the app to avoid having to enter the number, things went wrong. Every time I dial an international number the app takes me to an access number where I have to enter PIN. And the entire number!
The application itself is good but it comes with a risk of losing your hearing. As soon as you place a call, there is this EXTREMELY HIGH PITCH Vonage sound that is played right before the app dials the number. I use my phone with headphones on, I cannot describe how much I hate and it irks me when you hear this high pitch sound right inside your ears. Worse, I am afraid I may lose my hearing if I am not careful. Vonage, what were you thinking, what is the point?
It requires us to enter the phone number 2 times, and defeats the whole purpose of the app.
Not working at all :(
I was so excited about the App. It just does not work and recognize my cell phone number. The only I can make it work by dialing the code and the number which are outside of US. Even entering the number manually does not work, after a LONG time, it asks for a code and then the number. Once connected the quality is VERY good. Does not accpet numbers with +, needs 011. Takes a LONG time to start too. Wonder if it is the WiFi and if I was in 3G it might work. Good try, but needs work.
...and unfortunately you can't make calls over wifi....just 3G...with this app...
This app requires a pin and then re-entering the number. This is contrary to the claims by Vonage. Also, the app is clunky and is a time sink in terms of loading and taking next actions. Very poor quality and even poorer marketing messages by Vonage.
