I have had 3 instances when i got charged for international calls amounting to couple hundres dollars, thanks to at&t they rerated the calls to reduced the amount.. Earlier i was thinking its my mistake but after reading thru reviews, this crappy app can really cost you dearly ...
Terrible app because it doesn't take advantage of Wi-Fi when you're connected and alway requires cell minutes. Good idea, very bad implementation. You would think that the people who popularized VoIP would know how to do this.
The app calls via Vz network and you will get charged! Vz CSR told me this are logged as a 3 way calls and I end up with about $200 charges. I showed Vonage CSR the bill showing the call from Vonage number to Vz. Official answer - after a week, was that Vonage will not refund three way calls? Deleted, mot recommended .
Every time you call, this app is connecting to AT&T network and getting charged as international call. I wouldn't recommend to use this app at all. Venkat
Even though I use it everydayu don't like it's functionality. It takes longer time to open and connect a call. And it asks to enter pin sometimes which it shouldnt. RAZA app is far better than this one. It will connect u to a call very quickly. I don't know y they are not concerned about this though it's a big company than RAZA
This is a very dangerous application to use. It works 99% of the time but the one time it doesn't work can cost you dearly. Ever since I started using this app my phone bill has been more than my usual $75. Even though all my long distance calls are made through the Vonage app, at least one slips through and shows up on my bill like a rude and painful surprise. This month was the last straw. Once I dial from the contact list and punch the pin, it asks me again to dial...by rote because the contact list has closed. And it takes a long time to open.
Be very careful while using this app - the calls are just like dialing directly so you will be charged roaming if you are outside us. It does not use wifi
It does not work on iPhone. It does not integrate with contacts on my iPhone address book. It asks to enter the Pin number and then to manually key in the destination number. Forget about it.. I gave 1 star only because there is no option to give zero star
