This is our "special occasion" restaurant. It's also where we go for a food experience. We always order the chef's tasting menu and in four visits have tried many dishes we never would have otherwise, always with wonderful results. We love it!
Planning on having a family get together for a big birthday at the restaurant in the near future, but, only if Andrew, a wonderful waiter is working that shift. We will plan accordingly. Easy to locate, valet parking was available, the restaurant was welcoming. Our table was just as I requested, in front of a fireplace. The wines and cocktails were reasonably priced and very good. Nice variety of appetizers and small plates and entrees. Everyone in our party ordered something different and everyone was more than satisfied. W... read more
This second try wasn't a total failure. It was again a Friday evening. The cook still has a really heavy hand with the salt. My wife said her dinner was very good, but only because of the skate. My steak, a beautiful shoulder cut, came with ketchup, can you believe that ! The wine Saumur-Champigny was again excellent. The service was off-hand, our reservation was at 5:30PM so he must have got really tired by 6:30 ! The support staff was very attentive.
Made reservation online; we were seated promptly, and we had a very nice table. Server was very knowledgeable, and provided with tips for selecting things from the menu. Good food, and great ambiance.
What a beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful views, spectacular food, and a great find. My husband ordered the oyster Po-Boy and loved it. I had the artesinal cheese and the presentation was a delicious as the cheese! Fish and chips and a burger rounded out the meal for our teenagers and all left impressed. We will be back,
Our waiter was efficient, perceptive and had a great sense of humor The food was wonderfully prepared and served. The tartare was loved by all four of us. The mussels were fresh, delicately flavored and consumed with heartiness. Our entrees were, likewise, food to rave over. Thank you! Frost's never lets us down.
Lovely meal in historic atmosphere with attentive service.
Been awhile since we have been here. Menu and food quality much better.
We brought my parents here for brunch to test out the menu and were thoroughly impressed! Each of us tried a different thing and shared a bit of it with everyone else at the table, and everything was equally delicious and unique! We're really looking forward to hosting our brunch wedding reception here. The atmosphere is quaint but still fancy, and though it feels romantic there were groups of all kinds eating brunch-- families with children, couples, two female friends, and more. I wouldn't bring a group larger than 4 or 6 ... read more
