As usual, we had a wonderful dining experience. We had a group of 4 for restaurant week, so we were able to try everything on the week's menu. Everything was delicious!
Menu for restaurant week was good. Food was very tasty, only part of the meal that was mediocre was the creamed spinach--it had no taste. My wife and suspected that it might be frozen. Wait staff was very attentive and there was a fire blazing while we were there which made for great ambiance.
Went to WA Frost for a second time in 2 months because we loved our first visit so much and it seemed like the perfect place to celebrate a 75rh birthday. We were a party of 5 and all tried the restaurant week tasting menu. Fabulous! Had a lovely time. My current St. Paul favorite. Prices were really reasonable and they also offer micro entrees which are a perfect size with a salad.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Frost's again, selecting the Tasting menu with wine pairings. The service was outstanding, the food delicious, the wine unusually good, and the ambiance as good as it gets. Just a wonderful experience, especially on a cold night when the fireplace is going in the dining room.
We went here for restaurant week and decided to order off the regular menu, because the restaurant week menu was very limited and not very price beneficial. They sat us at a table by the window and right next to the fire place. Good thing I like being warm, because the fireplace was puting off some major heat. The sun was shining right in my eyes but the greeter promptly went outside to lower the awning. The food was good and the service was also.
The food was fabulous - we went for Restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised. The beet salad, 1/2 a chicken, and stuffed pork shoulder were spectacular. The desserts were only ok - the carrot cake was disappointing. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely be going back some time soon!
It had been the first time to WA Frost. The prices were very reasonable and I cannot say enough abou the staff. Our waiter was amazing. It was a Sunday night and he asked if we had anywhere we needed to be so based on that he really let us take our time and enjoy our conversation and meal. The curry mussles were amazing. We look forward to returning soon!
We came to W.A. Frost after my Father-in-Law's memorial service and it was a perfect place to have good drinks and dinner after an emotional day. It gave us the time to remember and celebrate his life. Our server was wonderful, very informative and respectful of our conversations. We were commenting days after how essential the dinner was to our end our day. Thank you.
As somewhat of a self admitted foodie, I must highly recommend W.A. Frost & Co. We had a wonderful server who was very attentive and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the mussels and beef tartare to start, while both were good and I would recommend both- I highly recommend the beef tartare if you have to choose one. For entrees, we family styled a couple different entrees, but the scallops were a dream and I must insist on raving about them. The plate was an absolute delight in my mouth. For dessert we enjoyed the Kit Kat b... read more
