I wouldn't bring my dog here again. If you watch the wag hotel video for all day play, it's just very unsanitary and the one trainer to several dogs is not enough. Most of the dogs just stand there and don't seem to be having any fun at all as when some start to play they just spray them with water. There's dogs peeing all over the place and the rest of the dogs are running around in pee all day until the trainer wipes it up. Very unsanitary, and I watched some other disturbing behavior from the trainer towards the dog. I w... read more
They say 365/24/7 but they do not accommodate Christmas. My dogs are not neutered and need to be in a room, but they do not have that service on Christmas Day and if I went to board them it needs to be for 3 or more days. I don't get why they would need to sit in there for 3 days during the Christmas time if I only need them there for a couple of hours. Do they lock the dogs up and not come back for 3 days? I do not get the logic.
Very disappointed that I made reservations (hotel, events, etc.) based on the Wag website. They state there is a 3 night min. from 12/23 during the Holidays. We were coming on the 22nd overnight leaving in the morning on the 23rd. They waited THREE days to call me to tell me that they have a 3 night min starting the 23rd and regardless of how many times I said we were leaving on the 23rd they said it still qualified. Then why not say their Holiday min started on the 22nd???????? That doesn't even make sense. If you are boa... read more
Horrible customer service. Lied about reviewing vaccinations and reserving our dates. Come to find out 3 days later we were wait listed because the worker failed to complete the reservation. Had even booked our return flight at a time to work within their billing schedule. Workers are unreliable and lie to customers. Now we have a family vacation booked with no pet care.
I called to ask for information about their prices, then i called back to book an appointment 3 weeks ago, we were excited for our puppy to get her first grooming experience I even asked for the day off at work, just for then to tell me they did not even have my information in their system??? What kind of joke is this? And i wonder What kind of staff is working here booking people's appointments ??? I miss a day of work and its not even funny they still asked me if i was sure i had called their business, im pretty sure there... read more
As I was reading other reviews I can sympathize with others pain. My corgi went to the all day play and when I pick him up he was coughing non stop. He also was missing his bandana which I sent him with but that isn't really important. He didn't ate or drink anything and became very sick overnight. I was so terrified and took him to the emergency room. He was diagnosed with kennel cough due to poor ventilation and unsanitary conditions. I called WAG customer service to let them know since kennel cough is highly contagiou... read more
Wag has provided care for our two dogs multiple times over the last year, and while we have had some good experiences with Wag and have never worried for our dogs' immediate safety while in Wag's care, there are several reasons we will not be boarding them at Wag again in the future. There are two critical issues: health/sanitation practices and communication. Plain and simple - both times in recent memory (once in July and once in August) that we have boarded our dogs at Wag for multi-night stays, they have come back with... read more
I'd like to preference this review with the fact that not all experiences have been bad here, and that there are some front desk personnel who seem to have a genuine connection with Our dog. However, we've now had two bad experiences boarding our dog, which is why I am now writing this review. 1st - we boarded our dog a few months ago and requested that her nails be trimmed while she was being boarded. When we picked her up, she had obviously been drugged (she was very loopy, did not recognize our faces, and did not respon... read more
It was helpful at first until I left my dog for 9 days, I paid $1,600 and I got a sick dog due to unsanitary environment. I haven't see anything but my dog had lost considerably weight and sick vomiting and diarrhea. If you love your pet, this is not the boarding place. This happened sept 2021.
