I have tried to get a tour at either the San Francisco and Oakland locations and I just cannot seem to get one. I have called 2 days before and 1 day before to make an appointment and the main waghotels personnel will tell me that I can go to either location between 10-6. I get to a location and due to short staffing due to covid no one can show me around. There is definitely a disconnect between the main waghotels 800 general line and each location. Not happy with my experience with Wag Hotels. I was moving and needed a place to leave my cat during the day. I tried making the reservation online and the website would not work. Refresh? Back to square one. I ended up calling a week before my move to book a reservation. Because my cat is over 13, they needed manager approval and I was told to call back at the beginning of the week to check in. Very bad attitude. I have put in an reservation on Monday and called Tuesday and Wednesday to confirm, they just told me to wait. Thursday I called again, was on hold for 40minutes and they told me there is no reservation under my name. I asked them what I should do, they just told me to apply online one more time with a very bad attitude. Don't waste your time.
We have been grooming with Nick @ Wag hotels our Golden Doodle and the experience was good until the last time. We are very good in maintaining the dog and never had knotted issue so far. This time when we went to drop of my pet the groomer had not yet come to work and when we went to pick him up the groomer had completely shaven off my pet to the skin across the entire body. I wouldn't bring my dog here again. If you watch the wag hotel video for all day play, it's just very unsanitary and the one trainer to several dogs is not enough. Most of the dogs just stand there and don't seem to be having any fun at all as when some start to play they just spray them with water. There's dogs peeing all over the place and the rest of the dogs are running around in pee all day until the trainer wipes it up. They say 365/24/7 but they do not accommodate Christmas. My dogs are not neutered and need to be in a room, but they do not have that service on Christmas Day and if I went to board them it needs to be for 3 or more days. I don't get why they would need to sit in there for 3 days during the Christmas time if I only need them there for a couple of hours. Do they lock the dogs up and not come back for 3 days? I do not get the logic.

We do not have rooms available for daycare services requiring one on one room accommodations (what you are requesting), due to them being occupied with overnight guests. Very disappointed that I made reservations (hotel, events, etc.) based on the Wag website. They state there is a 3 night min. from 12/23 during the Holidays. We were coming on the 22nd overnight leaving in the morning on the 23rd. They waited THREE days to call me to tell me that they have a 3 night min starting the 23rd and regardless of how many times I said we were leaving on the 23rd they said it still qualified. Horrible customer service. Lied about reviewing vaccinations and reserving our dates. Come to find out 3 days later we were wait listed because the worker failed to complete the reservation. Had even booked our return flight at a time to work within their billing schedule. Workers are unreliable and lie to customers. Now we have a family vacation booked with no pet care.
I called to ask for information about their prices, then i called back to book an appointment 3 weeks ago, we were excited for our puppy to get her first grooming experience I even asked for the day off at work, just for then to tell me they did not even have my information in their system??? What kind of joke is this? And i wonder What kind of staff is working here booking people's appointments ???
