dont put your pet here! they will neglect your pet and not feed them. keep them locked up without taking them out. they will withhold video footage too. overall they treat your pet horribly

We used to bring our dog there a few times a week for all-day play and we would even purchase the extra services for her (K9 Fit Rooftop Romps, etc...) because we wanted to make sure she was getting the most stimulation for the day. In the beginning, loved it and the staff - but it looks like there's been quite some turnover in the past six months so the same people that used to be excellent from a customer service and dog care standpoint aren't there anymore. I did not have a good experience here. My pitbull, Givenchy, stayed here for 5 days during 4th of July. I supplied a smaller bag of food, 18 dollar bag. When I returned, more then half of this bag was returned to me. I do not believe my dog was fed everyday, twice a day. I also paid for all the extra perks, including treat time, night play etc. I do not believe these services were fulfilled. If I could give Wag Hotels ZERO STARS I would. After leaving my golden retriever at Wag Santa Clara, I must let you know that Wag Hotels is NOTHING like they used to be. My golden retriever was in the "all day play" on Saturday and he has been VOMITING ever since. Both the ER vet and our primary vet say he was under COMPLETE STRESS. The CAMERAS at Wag were NOT WORKING after 1:30pm and there is no way to get a hold of anyone at the hotel. The San Francisco staff at wag hotels is incompetent. I used the wag hotels in West Sacramento for over a year and never had any problems. Since moving back to SF they banned my dog from All Day Play because they said, "he had too much energy for some of the other dogs." I was ok with this and resorted to their Day Stay. After this I probably had to wait an average of 10-15 minutes every time for them to get my dog for me because they were "looking for him". I've reached out to Wag twice with no reply. Actually once they replied saying no other dogs got sick. Look at your Yelp bro! I've escalated this with them. Other dog owners, please do the same.

There is no way to contact them directly. None. On the website and 800-number recording it says you can stop by from 10a-6p for a tour of the rooms. I stopped by at 1p. Girl at the desk said "Sorry we're not giving any more tours today." I had a few questions. She said to call the 800-number or check the website. Called the 800 number 3x. Put on hold 3x. I requested a call back 3x. Never got a call back. Was able to find the direct number to the SF location, not the 800 number. Called, it went to voicemail. Left a message as... read more

Not sure how this establishment has 4 stars, we definitely should have at least read through some of the recent reviews as all the 1 & 2 star reviews reflected our experience - food: our dog straight up wasn't fed. why are we paying over $100 / night for our dog to not get fed. we watched the video and had to call to get someone to actually go in and provide food for our dog. isn't this the entire point of boarding our dog? - "exercise time": in my head i was thinking my dog would be bounding with joy and having the time o... read more
