This was my first time bringing my pet to an overnight boarding so I was a little nervous… But the staff was absolutely amazing! I have a miniature dachshund and she’s usually a little bit timid with other dogs, but after staying at the hotel over the weekend and going to play group, it completely boosted her confidence with other dogs!
This was the 1st time I’ve boarded my dog. Like most pet parents if we can’t take them we just don’t go on vacation. After visiting the hotel, talking to staff & knowing I could see him at anytime made me VERY VERY COMFORTABLE 😊 I got daily photos of him having the time of his life. And at checkout the staff let me know how sweet he is & he’s welcome back anytime. yhey mentioned his little weird, goofy, sweet personality. Absolutely fabulous! I had taken my 8 month old Cavapoo to another daycare/boarding facility and it was not a good experience. Wag Hotel staff were so nice, professional, and took the best care of my dog. They have web cams and take a couple photos during the day of your pet and text them to you. The services they offer are outstanding. Next visit, considering purple ears and a painted heart tattoo. I will always take her here!
The staff and accommodations at the West Loop location are great for my dog Bailey when I go on business trips. I can tell when we arrive by his excitement that he loves it there…not to mention what I’m able to watch on the webcam as he enjoys his all-day play. I’ve had a few bad daycare experiences before, so I can see the difference here. I feel fortunate to have a place I can leave my pup while I’m away where they take good care of him and he has fun. I’m giving it two stars because it feels pretty safe to leave a dog in a place like that, compared to private boarding. This being said, Molly was all wet and badly dehydrated, she couldn’t stop drinking for hours. My understanding is that she spilled water at some point that was never replenished.
