I booked an appointment easily through e-mail. It's a pain to get there using the train, but thats nyc for ya. The friendly staff started working on me immediatly. I was sent to get my hair washed by Eddy, who was super friendly and gave a great scalp massage ! The chairs at the hair washing station were also very comfortable. I've been getting my hair styled at John Barrett but decided to change it up after a friend recommend a stylist at Warren Tricomi on Madison. I booked my appt w Henry there. Loved him!!! He was great. He cut my hair and I was so happy with it, that I went back last week for him to style it for an event and got so many compliments. After I left, I looked him up and I saw that has worked on a lot of celebrities. I'm glad I took the risk and tried someone new.

I bought a groupon which was $159 for a highlight, cut, and style. The salon is chic and clean. There was absolutely no wait time and I was greeted in a friendly manner. Courntey (colorist) gave me tons of golden highlights, which are a bit lighter than the pic I showed her, but very precise and flattering. Courntey even put in 2 glosses because she was unhappy with the results from the first gloss. She was friendly, talkative, and welcoming as was the remainder of the staff. Had a really great cut from Janice. She did EXACTLY what I wanted and she even gave me a quick lesson on how to trim my bangs by myself in between cuts. She was awesome!

I had fabulous highlights from Courtney and a great blow out from Nina. Red highlights on a brunette can be tricky but she got it right without having to make any adjustments. One word of caution about the salon, if you buy a cut and highlights separately you will run into trouble unless you use them the same day. Even though you are a "new client" when you buy them, when you try to book the 2nd appt you are told that it can't be honored since you are no longer technically a "new client" Fortunately Groupon returned my purch... read more

I was in need of a new stylist and colorist, so I bought Lifebooker's amazing cut and color deal to try them out. Now I have a stylist and colorist! After getting there 30 minutes late to the appointment (went to the Plaza location and then couldn't find a cab to get to the right location) they sat me down right away and got started. I purchased a Groupon for this location after asking my friend where she had her cut and color done. Her hair was truly fantastic... and so was mine after leaving Warren-Tricomi Madison. I've been back twice since and have had fantastic service and results all three times. Shuki knows what to do with wavy/curly hair. My hair has NEVER looked this good. Never. Best color I've ever had (Rachel is fab) and Tanya gave me an amazing cut. Salon is beautiful, the chairs at the shampoo station are insanely comfortable. The place isn't cheap but if you believe in the value of a good cut and color it's well worth it!
