Okay, I went for my second manicure from bloom spot and I don't think I will be using the third. It started out okay, the manicurist was very friendly, let me try a few polishes on before committing to the one I brought with me. The filing job was lousy, my nails were all different shapes. My cuticles were a mess and the manicure chipped by the end of the day! They also used that cheap quick dry nail spray which (in my experience) dulls the manicure and makes it chip faster. I was disappointed with the haircut I got from Henry, I expected more from this type of place, glad that didn't have to pay a full price at least as I used the groupon deal, otherwise I would have made a big deal. I would never come back here, I will need to continue the search for a salon where I can get a good highlights/haircut. Courtney though was very good, she did a wonderful job with highlights, it seems that she knows how to read client's mind :)

I purchased a Groupon for this salon. They would not talk to me over the phone, but would only make me an appointment on email. After I made the appointment, they would not tell me the name of the stylist, nor would they return my emails. But the very best part was that after I got my color (which was actually quite lovely), they would not blow my hair dry. They HANDED ME A HAIR DRYER and said I could do it myself. The salon itself is beautiful. Chic. Clean. Trendy. But that can only get you so far. I had a conditioning treatment, cut, and blow-out planned. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment but the staff got me started right away. Got a head massage while getting my hair washed and a back massage from the wash station chair! This place is completely unprofessional. When I showed up at 8 o'clock in the morning for my scheduled appointment on Friday they said my appointment was for the previous day. I had a feeling that something may not be quite right because no one even bothered to call me the confirm (which is standard practice everywhere in Manhattan). I purchased a voucher for Warren Tricomi on Madison Avenue through an online deal. When I called and they found out that I had the voucher they treated me completely different than if I had been calling without a voucher. The receptionst had super attitude (that's negative attitude) and for a simple haircut would not book earlier than 2 weeks out. I came to this salon because of a Bloomspot deal. I have to say I wi L never go back. Warren Tricomi has a certain cache and this salon fell far far below. The nerve of the people employed in this location is absurd. They are rude and uncarrying. On top of that their training seems to be lacking. My cut looks like something from 1995 and the so called deep conditioning treatment was nonexistent. Extremely disappointed.

I also came here with the bloomspot deal for haircut, deep conditioning treatment and blow dry. I was excited to try the place out, esp since it was so close to my apt. The best part of the day was the shampoo, got a very nice massage and he was so gentle with the comb. I did not get the deep conditioning treatment. Valentina barely spoke to me which really is fine by me, I am not chatty in the chair. But the haircut left a lot to be desired. What a wonderfull addition to the Warren Tricomi salon family. I came here for the 1st time. This location is beautiful with loads of natural light. My husband treated me to a gift certificate for a hair cut, blow out and full head of highlights. I love the dry method of haircutting. It's such a great technique. Nina gave me a fantastic haircut.
