I've been to this salon only once for a cut and blow dry,long time ago I don't even remember the stylist but i remember she costed me 150$ more because as soon as she touched my front part of the hair she told me my hair was thinning so i freaked out I thought I was losing hair and rushed to a dermatologist only to have me confirmed it was just white hair growing. What the-heck didn't she shut her mouth? This was my only and last experience with this salon, I will never forget this episode!

I was so excited to try this place, especially since it is so close to my apartment. I love my hair cut. However, the customer service I experienced was one of the most appalling I have ever had. I arrived for my appointment and checked in with the front desk. They told me to have a seat and my stylist would be right with me. Unfortunately I had one of the worst cuts and color of my life at the UES Warren Tricome. They cut so many weird layers into my hair, took out a ton of volume and the color was so bad that when I got home my husband said, "What did they do to your hair??". Yikes!! It was about three weeks ago and I have now spent over $1000 fixing what they did!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. AVOID AT ALL COST. DON'T SEE BETH. Warren Tricomi, WHERE IS YOUR QUALITY CONTROL? You'd think that you might expect professionalism and technical expertise from a "senior colorist" at the well-recognized Warren Tricomi salon on the UES. Truly a horrifying process from start to finish. I paid over 100 dollars for attitude, mediocre hair styling, and worst of all, a generally unprofessional salon-client experience. Let me begin. My sister had booked two appointments for us since we had our cousin's wedding later that day. I've been going to WT since 2002, and have to say this UES location is not good. I've gone there twice, for a cut and a color treatment, and the first time I had such a bad cut, I called her next day to try and fix it and she argued with me that I needed to style it better. I can't remember her name--sorry!-- but she was Russian. anyway, I didn't go again for over 2 years and then there was an online coupon for them so I tried them again. Fool me twice, shame on me! You know those hair stylists that do whatevr they want and don't listen to a word you say? Well that would be Anthony at Warren Tricomi. I was super excited for this splurge. Normally, I dont spend a lot of money on my hair. I gathered some images of the haircut I wanted. Once I showed Anthony the photos he told me some excuse for why he could not do that. I am so disappointed with this salon. I was ecstatic to come here- I heard only great things and am shocked that I am so upset with my hair. The whole atmosphere felt very unprofessional, and after getting my hair done at top notch places for years, I had extremely high expectations for Warren Tricomi. It looks as if I did it myself. Seriously, they are having trouble keeping their stylists, every time I go in for a blowdry, it's someone new. Most of them have no idea what modern iooks like. For a salon like this, the stylists need to be up on the latest trends & know how to give a great blowdry---and sadly they do not. Pump up the staff on Madison Ave. or you will lose more customers who know better.
