How miserable can a receptionist be in an office with no patients? Evidentially pretty miserable! These people act like they could care less. Working in healthcare myself, first impressions are EVERYTHING so when you approach the front desk and the person barely says hello, doesn't bother looking at you and huffs and puffs because you're standing there..........with an empty waiting room, that's a problem. I have been getting mammograms at WRA for many years. I have also had several surgeries for problems during that time. The technicians and doctors that I have seen have always been professional and caring. Now, here's the rub..... Last year, I waited 9 days for the results of my 3D mammogram. I'll repeat, 9 days! This year, it's been a week so far with no results. Perhaps this would be fine for someone with no history of problems/surgeries. For me, it is too long! I wanted to tell people to never bring children here. I had to bring my oldest daughter for a scoliosis scan and had to bring my younger children along, as well. From the second we walked into the waiting room we were treated rudely, given nasty looks, and condescended to. I have never been treated so badly by a front office staff. Never bring children to this facility.
