I read the reviews prior to showing up for my appointment. I regret to say that I did not believe the negative reviews, even though there were quite a number of them. They are true. Plan to spend 1.5 to 2+ hours for a mammogram/bone density "appointment". Front desk ladies are nice, even when responding to several "how much longer" questions. I went for my preventive annual mamogram. They didn't give me the results right away. Later they called for a new mamogram, fthe first one was not clear. So I went for a second mamogram, they told me that the doctor asked for a 3D. I waited for the results because they might need an ultrasound. They ended up doing the ultrasound, and I got the results immediately. After some weeks, i received an invoice to pay for the 3D that didn't work. Nice office building but the Dr. who worked with me, Dr. Johnson, was very unprofessional during my pelvic exam. She rammed the tool without asking if I was ready, telling me what she was about to do, that I should relax. ... nothing. I stopped her right before because I got scarred then she said " relax" and put it in. She is very insensitive and I will not be back. No apology or anything even though I yelled out covering my mouth to muffle the noise.

They sent my labwork to a lab my insurance does not cover and now I am out $1,500. When I called to find out why it was sent to a different lab that my insurance does not cover I was told "you initialed paperwork that you agree to have it sent to the lab we work with" .... I was in my first trimester of pregnancy and very ill. I have never ever been treated this way by any provider, no doctor, no facility, no place. Horrible business practice, how uncaring can they be?? Just floored!

I should have turned around as soon as I walked in. The waiting room full of frustrated looking people. Had to wait for over an hour just to get into another room to wait further. All told it took almost 1.5 hours for a simple ultrasound. I could not recommend anyone come to this place as it is run very unprofessionally. Everyone is required to have an appointment before coming to their office. The extreme wait strikes me not so much as incompetent as intentional indifference to patient's time and well being.

Every time I come here, there's a long wait. Ridiculous. I will be going back to my other place after this. First, they tell you it's a 15 minute wait, then it's 45 min. Good grief. Receptionists unprofessional as well. Carrying on personal business on the phone while people wait. Zero stars for Washington Radiology

Been here twice over a two year span, & both times, their systems have gone down. It's the system that transfers the radiology results to the doc...so that translates into sitting/waiting time in a gown & robe. Sitting/waiting both times for about a half hour.... Good service/staff, but you'll spend a bunch of time with them!

My review is specifically about their lack of protection of records. I needed reports for a doctor's appt tomorrow and all I had to do was call and ask and provide a fax number. Anyone who sounds like a woman, and knows my name and date of birth, could have gotten these records. That is not acceptable to me. I am disappointed. Having said that, I do appreciate the convenience... but the benefit does not outweigh the risks.
