been trying for days to schedule an appointment-- online form does not work. extremely frustrating- who has time for this
don't expect any follow up to the appointment requests you make by phone and via their online platform. you must call, and call. you would think they could do better.
Tried to schedule an MRI for the past several days. I have left messages. Spoken with receptionists who said someone would call me back. No one has. Incompetent office staff. They have lost my business for all future X-rays or MRIs.
Filling out forms online is a waste of time. Showing up 15 min as requested before the appt timeline is also a waste of time. Really poor service. Several people who came in after me have been seen already. The young woman receiving ultrasound patients needs additional training or perhaps a different job. What a waste of an afternoon off. I was seen at the Chevy Chase location for both a thyroid and pelvic sonogram. The technician was good, competent and friendly. However, the physician I saw had terrible bedside manner, I wouldn't even use a car mechanic who had his bed side manner. One of the most unpleasant medical encounters I've ever had. I won't be going back there.
Made an appointment for 12:45 on a Saturday and called to confirm the day before. Additionally, I emailed over my referral with appointment time as well. When I arrived the office was closed. I tried to call the office and the scheduling department and nobody answered. Waited at the office for over 20 minutes and still nobody showed.
Avoid this place if you can. My experience was not good. I went in for an HSG procedure (scheduled for 8:00am). I arrived at 7:50am and was not taken back until 8:50am. Then once in the back the two nurses I encountered were cold and brusque. The doctor who did the procedure was clear with his explanation of what was going on but the nurses/assistants had no bedside manner at all, they basically booted me from the room immediately after without further instructions. Administratively impossible. Phone call after phone call, can't get your name right, transfers and on hold, nothing ever gets done. If you finally get through and get an appointment, you can count on the intake staff to be dismissive; even if they can't spell your name or find your records, it's better to be sullen toward you, the patient. The procedures for mammograms are a disgrace and an offense to women's dignity. Women sit in rows with johnny tops that will not close, so that they must clasp themselves together wit... read more
