Way noisier than I expected. Lots of hard surfaces! Difficult to converse. There was ambient music playing but I didn't realize that fact for the first 15 minutes because the other noises were drowning it out! Otherwise the food was good and service was fast. Also a little warm inside...AC could have been increased.
This location is a lot bigger than Chelsea. You don’t feel like you’re on top of one another which I love. Food is always great but the service was not the night we went. They didn’t expedite our food properly and brought out everything at once with such a small table and I didn’t get mine wine until mid-meal. Also a little disappointed that my reservation wasn’t taken into consideration so I lost points on that. Oh well.
First time the ever the salad wasn’t fresh and there was a hair in it.
Menu seems promising and place looks cute from outside but there were three of us and our meals had very little flavor. I had the rice bowl and it wasn't exciting. Wouldn't go back - there's too many options to try in the neighbourhood.
Food was fantastic, though service was good it was not so friendly or warm, very efficient and robotic in manner, we felt extremely rushed due to service repeatedly coming back to the table too often interrupting our conversation and then zealously attempting to remove the plates and clear the table before we had finished, as a result of feeling rushed we were not relaxed and this disturbed a long arranged catch-up with friends from out of town who had not been seen for some time. Stick to the salads and burgers. Ive had them before and they are good. The entree special - hangar steak - was poorly executed and a mish mash.
I like this place - a lot - and I was disappointed last night. I ordered the asparagus, crab cakes, Caeser Salad, the steak with a side of mushrooms, and the peanut butter cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The was enough for the two of us - and we enjoyed two Macallans each. The waiter was attentive - great, however I was disappointed at being rushed - the place had many open tables. Veggies were greasy with oil and tasteless. As was the hangar steak. Very disappointed as was looking g forward to fresh well-prepared veggies.
I've eaten here before but this time was really disappointing. Breaded chicken was completely tasteless (dry, no seasoning whatsoever)...as was the brocolli and kale.. like plain boiled vegetables. Lastly the pie was so sad- rhubarb berries- the filling was total mush. Their apple pie is good, but avoid the rhubarb.
