ZERO stars. I signed a temporary lease with Wheelhouse Apartments (the Cherry Street Townhomes property to be specific) while my new house was being built. I literally have nothing nice to say about this management company. In the interest of time, I'm just going to list some of the issues I and many other residence have experienced: 1) They are extraordinarily slow at responding to maintenance issues, even when the heat is not working and it's in the teens outside 2) They misrepresented the utilities and how the bill would... read more

Hi Travis, Thanks very much for letting us know of your concerns; we are sorry that your experience was less than stellar. Amanda, our manager for Cherry Street Townhomes, was glad to speak with you to hear your concerns about our recent takeover of the building and our phone processes. Please know that we are taking steps to improve our processes. If you have any other issues, feel free to contact Amanda directly at 303.968.4727.
Completely dissatisfied with my experience with wheelhouse. Don't be fooled by the cool modern renovations; behind the walls are outdated, poorly maintained pipes that always seem to be leaking and having to be turned off for "quick fixes." Also, the people you deal with through wheelhouse will soon become the last people you want to have a contract with. Very inconsiderate, and nothing is done in a timely manner, or even done sometimes. "It's not our problem" seems to be the usual attitude. For the money you spend on rent, ... read more
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Our relationship with Wheelhouse began when they took over managing our first denver apartment, 19th place and 19th and grant downtown. So, we stayed at 19th place for probably a year I guess, after Wheelhouse took over. We decided to stick with them as a management company because we didn't have to pay any application fees to go to another Wheelhouse building. We toured Country Club Gardens which was advertised in the $700-$800 dollar range but after touring the manager Greg told us... read more
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I've lived at the 1200 Colorado Blvd Building all of a bit over a month...already my roomate & i are forced to break our leases & run for the hills. I legitimately do not even know where to begin. I guess let's start with thTHE GOOD... -Location. I personally love how close it is to Downtown/Cap Hill. I can walk to my favorite bars/Snooze for brunch & peer out my giant window at the busy streets. -The "Looks". I do enjoy the hardwood floors & as mentioned previously, the windows are quite large allowin... read more
I had an appointment today to see a 2 bedroom apartment at there location at 1200 Colorado. I had to take time out of my work day to schedule my appointment since there last showings are at 5. When I got there the leasing agent did not have keys so she was not able to show me a 2 bedroom but could only show me a 1 bedroom that the maintenance people were actively working on. How can you expect someone to want to rent an apartment from you, when they don't even get to see the apartment they made an appointment specifically to... read more
This is a terrible company. Avoid renting their properties. Wheelhouse "Boutique" Apartments recently bought our town-homes and nearly doubled the rent. They gave us exactly a month notice of the change to our month-to-month lease. My neighbor and myself are both pregnant and had planned to stay here indefinitely and now are being forced out, her only weeks from birth. Also our deposits are "missing." In addition to these immoral and sloppy business practices, in the last few weeks our water has been shut off periodically ... read more
I'm at the 1967 S. Josephine "Topaz Building" *update- second review complaining about FLOODING ISSUES Short story: Had to get a lawyer and call the Denver environmental health department due to long-term flooding in the unit, trash, maintenance problems, complete lack of communication, punctuality and respect. Long story: Your gracious one star is for the quality of the building, maintenance and over-all lack of communication and customer service I've experienced with this company. It got so bad that I had to hire a lawy... read more
