As I write this review the water service has (for at least the 5th time this year) been disrupted for "emergency repairs". This time with no warning, post interruption notification or communication about a possible service reestablishment time. During my last 2 years of living here I've had a few minor maintenance that needed to be resolved. Last winter my radiator began to leak at the control knob. The absolute WORST experience I have ever had!! DO NOT lease from Wheelhouse Apts. First, had to beg for the keys and receipt. I literally ask the Drunk receptionist(smelt like booze Bad) five or six times for my keys and receipt. It was thanks for the money, she wasn't even going to give me a single piece of paper if I didn't keep asking. Get to the place, walk in and you would not believe how Filthy this place was. Old food still in the fridge, shit in the toilet, trash and dirt in the floors, paint rollers and such on... read more

This complex is great if you want to live in a building with the most incompetent maintenance staff in the world. It takes on average ten phone calls before somebody comes to resolve an issue. Once "resolved" the problem resurfaces in about 3-5 days. At this juncture all hope is lost because calling again does not help. You will be ignored and your issue will never be resolved. Ever. Let the building know of a water leak in the walls on March 19th. It continued to leak water for almost 2 weeks. Took months to do ceiling and wall repairs. 5 weeks ago they told me they would send out professionals to fix my warped floor boards (4 months laterish, after coming out 3 times before and couldn't fix the problem). Get a call as I'm away from my place, today 7/11 (do the math of how long ive been tripping over warped floor boards) saying they were in my place and locking my pets in my room! No notice! We were interested in an apartment at 784 Cherry Street and received a lease. There was an addition to the lease saying that they could call on us to pay property taxes whenever they wanted. Understandably, we had gripes with this and contacted them to change it. This is where we had our biggest problem. After texting, calling, and emailing many times over a week, we still did not receive any communication. Getting in contact with these people has been a nightmare. They manage multiple properties none of which I've been able to see going on a week. Going through wheelhouse or boutique apartments will end up being a waste of your time.

Though the staff and maintenance are very kind people, and do what they can to make residents happy, they certainly don't address the issues that they simply don't feel like addressing. If something is simple and cheap, they'll fix it. The heating AND air conditioning systems in the Altair building have gone out Repeatedly, weekly, and sometimes more than once a week. Residents aren't notified, so if you are at work, your dear cat or dog is home freezing or bearing the summer heat. It's really not ok. Another resident thanke... read more

STAY AWAY FROM WHEELHOUSE AND BOUTIQUE! This is the most unprofessional company i have ever dealt with in my entire life. When we first arrived to our apartment on move in day the place was destroyed, as if a frat boy just moved out. It was truly disgusting, to the point where me and my girlfriend spent two full days cleaning it. I currently live in the Latitude 40 building. I have been living here since May 2015. Until last week I have not had any issues. Last week the toilet valve broke off my toilet and flooded the majority of my apartment. The toilet did not have a shut off valve. There was no way to stop the water. The fire department could not stop the water either. It took emergency maintenance over an hour to get to my apartment. They have yet to come in a finish cleaning up our apartment.
