They don't even deserve one star. They are money hungry and extremely unorganized. We have rented for many years, We have never had such issues with a landlord as My husband and I have had with them. Just be warned they tell you one thing is okay, another employee will tell you something different and you as the tenant will end up paying the price for their poor communication. Moving out of 801 Dahlia St. Denver Has been absolutley horrible, we wanted to move because we are expected our first and Wheelinghouseapt has cause... read more
the people running this are morons. tried to resign our lease, verbally said he'd send it to me.... nothing. then when rent comes due we have nothing posted in our account. multiple times my roomates and i have tried reaching out and asking. everytime get the run around. now all the sudden we have an eviction warning notice, even though we have done everything on our end. we aren't dead beats. it just would be great if they actually got organized. honestly, its cheap and you get what you paid for. we had an unoccupied un... read more
I lived at the apartments on Josephine St. and while the apartments themselves are fairly nice the management company leaves much to be desired. The amount they charge for apartments is way overpriced. A 1 bedroom apartment that is less than 500 sq. ft. is now almost $1,000 per month. When I had originally moved in, it was $780 per month. This price change occurred in only 1 years' time. They also way overcharge for pets, parking, and storage. Their apartments are decent but NOT worth the price. I was also met with some pre... read more
I would give negative stars if it were an option. I have been a resident of Wheelhouse/Boutique Apartments for about 14 months. From the beginning I have had problems with them. At times I have had to go to the owner to get any one to take notice and act. I could write a book on all of my issues with them but I will try to just do a few bullet points so you can get an idea. *My assigned parking spot (that I am charged for) has been "mistakenly" given to other residents THREE separate times, because they can't keep track... read more
ZERO stars. I signed a temporary lease with Wheelhouse Apartments (the Cherry Street Townhomes property to be specific) while my new house was being built. I literally have nothing nice to say about this management company. In the interest of time, I'm just going to list some of the issues I and many other residence have experienced: 1) They are extraordinarily slow at responding to maintenance issues, even when the heat is not working and it's in the teens outside 2) They misrepresented the utilities and how the bill would... read more
Completely dissatisfied with my experience with wheelhouse. Don't be fooled by the cool modern renovations; behind the walls are outdated, poorly maintained pipes that always seem to be leaking and having to be turned off for "quick fixes." Also, the people you deal with through wheelhouse will soon become the last people you want to have a contract with. Very inconsiderate, and nothing is done in a timely manner, or even done sometimes. "It's not our problem" seems to be the usual attitude. For the money you spend on rent, ... read more
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Our relationship with Wheelhouse began when they took over managing our first denver apartment, 19th place and 19th and grant downtown. So, we stayed at 19th place for probably a year I guess, after Wheelhouse took over. We decided to stick with them as a management company because we didn't have to pay any application fees to go to another Wheelhouse building. We toured Country Club Gardens which was advertised in the $700-$800 dollar range but after touring the manager Greg told us... read more
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I've lived at the 1200 Colorado Blvd Building all of a bit over a month...already my roomate & i are forced to break our leases & run for the hills. I legitimately do not even know where to begin. I guess let's start with thTHE GOOD... -Location. I personally love how close it is to Downtown/Cap Hill. I can walk to my favorite bars/Snooze for brunch & peer out my giant window at the busy streets. -The "Looks". I do enjoy the hardwood floors & as mentioned previously, the windows are quite large allowin... read more
I had an appointment today to see a 2 bedroom apartment at there location at 1200 Colorado. I had to take time out of my work day to schedule my appointment since there last showings are at 5. When I got there the leasing agent did not have keys so she was not able to show me a 2 bedroom but could only show me a 1 bedroom that the maintenance people were actively working on. How can you expect someone to want to rent an apartment from you, when they don't even get to see the apartment they made an appointment specifically to... read more
